4. PLAYING YOUR A-GAME - SARITA JOHAN
from Build Your Core with Sarita Johan · host IBGR onAir Talent Sarita Johan
Introduction As Dynamic Partners in business you bring different talents and skills, you made the decision you wanted to do it with someone rather than going at it alone. How do you as partners get to play at your A-game though? I love watching sports, why? Because you can gain a lot from watching, there are many things that can be related back to building a business. If we look at sporting teams we can pose the question “What makes a successful sporting team?” Firstly, they have a well put together plan, the plan you could expect would talk with great details on what needs to happen to deploy it. Secondly the focus would be on positioning the right talent in the right positions, where does each player fit, where can they play at their strengths. In your business this is no different, these are some of the key ingredients to set you up for success. So in summary “your strategy” is “your business game plan”, it provides you with clarity on where you are heading, how and what you will need to do to achieve your organisational goals. For you as Dynamic Partnerships you need to be across and in alignment of your “business game plan”, as well as identifying who you as players fit where. This will lead you on the path to success.
