4 Seed Energy
from Not The Experts Hosted by Not The Experts
On this episode of Not The Experts, Evan & Dave break down Kansas finishing the regular season 22–9 and tied for third in the Big 12, but with wildly mixed vibes heading into the postseason. They revisit the Arizona road trip disaster, the Bill Self ejection that derailed the Arizona State game, and the emotional senior night win over Kansas State — highlighted by Melvin Council’s unforgettable Jayhawk kiss. The guys also hand out season superlatives, from Darryn Peterson nuclear scoring bursts and the Arizona win at Allen Fieldhouse to the low points of the season: the mysterious cramps saga, frustrating chemistry issues, and a team that never quite reached its ceiling. Plus: a full rant on Doug Sirmons officiating, the bizarre Big 12 LED court experiment, and why dismissing the possibility of Jacque Vaughn as KU’s future coach might be the dumbest take on the internet. Finally, they preview the Big 12 Tournament, what Kansas must prove before the NCAA Tournament, and why a fully unlocked Darryn Peterson could make KU the most terrifying 4-seed in the country.
