4. The Women

Hannah and Paris review the historical drama novel, ‘The Women’ by Kristin Hannah. This episode features a lot of love for the author as well as the magnificent story. It focuses on themes of love, grief, mental health struggles and substance abuse.  The book follows Frankie McGrath, a Vietnam war nurse, and her journey to reassimilate into civilisation. What she finds is a nation that doesn’t support the war effort or recognise the efforts made by women who served.
