And let's talk about how we can grow your business together. Welcome. Welcome back to a weekend edition. A weekend edition of four of those takes.

Same show, same person. Artists was here to bring you four fresh minutes on the Timmy Wolf takes. And just like every episode, there's a lot to get into. Today's episode might be a little bit more tense.

Might be a little more irritable today because of the old two start, the old two hold that the wolves are in right now. It's tough. It's tough, not gonna lie, it's tough. But before I get into that, and trust me, I will get into what I think needs to change.

Maybe some adjustments that need to be made, some guys needing to play better. Before we get into that, what I think the series is over or not, I want to give a shout out to everyone who was at the Black Party last night, Friday night. I was there amongst the people, you know, shaking hands, catching a vibe, trying to see what the vibe was like heading into the game to and for the rest of the series. So to everyone who was okay being in front of the camera and giving us thoughts, takes opinions on the wolves, shout out to you guys.

I got the names here. We got Shane, we got MG, we got Katie, we got Jake, Logan, Preston, Tyler, Gabe, girl, and Sean. Now, Sean, if you are watching this by now, you may know, if you followed the social media pages, we were not able to fit your comments in the video that went out on social. There was a miscommunication as far as the videos being transferred back and forth, and it didn't make the cut.

I'm sorry, but, but, but, I say, he wasn't able to make the cut for the social media pages and for the official video that went out. But I can't give my guy a shout out on four wolves takes. I can't do that. So what I further do, I am gonna roll his clip here on four wolves takes, because I do want him, you know what I'm saying, to have his moment.

Everybody who was on, deserved to have their moment on the show or on, you know, the social media platform. So what I further do here, Sean, giving us a few takes on how he thinks the rest of this series will go and how he felt leading up into game two. Shout out to him, man. And shout out to everybody else again, guys.

If you don't follow the social media pages by now, I don't know what you're waiting on. It is at score North. Obviously, I'm sure most of you do, but let's put it up on the screen for maybe the people who just watch on YouTube and don't follow on, you know, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, follow everywhere. It is the same at everywhere.

If you want to see the extended version of, you know, me going out and just catching a vis before the game, y'all go and follow the pages, watch the video, show some love, you know, shout out to all y'all and I appreciate everybody into the people who I asked. It was like, nah, I'm okay. Shout out to y'all too, man, because y'all could have just walked past me. Y'all could have been like, whatever, you know what I mean?

But y'all still say what's up, you know, nah, not today. I got some of the B. We respect that, man. It's not for everybody.

It's not for everybody and we respect that. But let's get into these takes, man. Let's, let's, let's talk. Last time I was here, the Wolves were down three two to the, to the, to the outside Dallas, never.

So to the different nuggets, they were down three two and you boy, what in that confident? Not gonna lie, what in that confident, but, but long story short, obviously, they came back. They won game six. They won game seven in dramatic fashion and now we're in the Western conference finals, shout out to being in the Western conference finals, will spans Minnesota, Tim Wolves, but not a positivity goes out the window for now.

I'm sorry. We got to get right to it, man. We got to talk about what the heck I'm seeing with my own two eyes started with the first second of the day. It's time for cat and ants to wake up.

Man, where y'all at? I mean, I mean, let's just, let's just cut it. Let's just cut it. Call it spade a spade, man.

Where y'all at? Let's start recording to me, Tom's. Carleton, he times game one of this series, six of 20 from the field, 16 points, game two, four of 16 from the field, 15 points. I don't think he's using his size to his advantage earlier in the playoffs.

I thought he played a lot more composed than he's played recently, especially in game two. It got so bad in game two that cat didn't even see the floor. For most of the fourth, because Nasri shot to Nasri who played Lighthouse basketball, had it going to such an extent where, hey, Nasri will eat cat on the bench. He's not playing well.

And Nas is, this is a perennial all star that is on the bench, game two, a lot on the line here, momentum on the line here, about to potentially lose two straight home games and completely give the home court advantage back to the Dallas Mavericks, right? And he's on the bench. This is, again, a perennial all star. This isn't just an ordinary player that's on the bench in these moments.

This is car into these towns. And it was the right decision. And that's the part that kills me. The fact that this was the right decision.

The fact that I can't look and say, what was coach fish thinking? No, we know what he was thinking. Nas was balling and cat wasn't cat. We got to wake up.

We got to hit the perimeter shots. We got to be smart with the basketball. You know what I mean? We got to use our size to our advantage.

I don't think they have a legit match up for cat. I think cacking get a bucket whenever he wants, but he's got to slow down, relax. Coach Vince said it. He's got to slow down.

He's got to relax. Take his time. Let the game come to you. But, man, it's tough and they need him.

And oh my goodness. And I need it to be aggressive. I pride myself on trying not to make four-wills takes an emotional show, right? But I am a sports fan.

I'm an analyst. I like to think, you know, after mistake and you not like to be objective, but the sports fan might come out in this episode. I need to be aggressive. I need him to look for his shot early and often.

Enough with his passive and basketball. I'm sorry. We've seen now for three straight games and not play well. And I think it is in part because he comes out in these games and he's looking to pass.

Defer, pass, Defer. Fast break, pass, fast break, pass. Half court, pass. I got to shot a pass.

And then he at works. You are the man. You are one of the best players in basketball. You got to go get a bucket sometimes.

One of my men's am a swan the other way. You got to read that. When the other, your teammates not making shots for three, four minutes going on. You know what I mean?

Okay, it's time to go get a bucket. Now if you go shooting, you don't make the shot and you live with that as a fan. You live with that. But when we can't live with, it seems going on runs and not even shooting the ball.

Looking to be passive, come on, man. This is the time. This is the moment. I don't know if he's hurt.

I don't know if it's the exhaustion. He called out Kyrie in his own way. I thought that's a bit overblown. I think he was just talking.

I think he was just a that's my matchup. I'm looking forward to it. I don't think it was any trash talk behind that. And when he wants to trash talk, we know he can.

But conversation for another day, if car is motivation, he use that as motivation, right? But now you got him chasing around Kyrie all game, at least in game one, game two, you kind of took him off, but he's still tired in game two. Man, I don't know. I don't know.

I don't know. I don't know. It's three straight games. Anthony Edwards, six of 24, six of 16, five of 17.

Bro, you got to be better. It's no way around it. Find your rhythm early in the game. If you find your rhythm early in the game, it'll translate to later in the game.

But if you come out, oh, it's your passive right away, trying to get everybody else involved and just, oh, I'm just going to get a ball here today. Your rhythm score, man. You're not going to be in rhythm when it matters. Not going to be in rhythm when it matters, man.

So it's got to be more aggressive. He's got to look for his shot a lot more. He's got to stop passing up on open looks. He's got to get down hill a lot more.

Gets to the free throw line. It's more they have no shot at winning this series of neither one of these guys step up. You have gotten major contributions from Nas Reed, Jayden McDaniel's. Mike Holly has made big shots here and there.

Like other guys have stepped up around these guys and the stars have just been a no show. And on the other side of the ball, you got to look and kind of read onto the next take, man. Take number two of the day. Nick Kilalek has to start making shots again, man.

Nick Kilalek has made three since I want to say game six of the Denver series. And the problem with this is if Nick Kilalek is not making perimeter shots and makes him an offensive liability because he's only going to attack the bats and so many times. He's only going to be able to get that shot over those bigs in the paint, but so many times, right? So ideally you need them to make perimeter shots, mid range shots, three point shots.

You need that from him. And especially same as though he might be your best matchup on Kyrie. From a physical standpoint, from a quickness standpoint, from a, I don't want to tire out I don't want to gas out Anthony ever. He might be the match up, but if he's out there and he's not making shots, it makes it tough.

Didn't okay. You know, against this team that's scoring away, they're scoring. Maybe I have Mike Holly out there a little bit more, even though he can't be the same defensive player that not Nick Kilalek is and makes it tough to win this series. If he's not playing effectively offensively, he has to step it up.

He's got to pick it up. He's got to make these shots. I think sometimes, you know, shooters, they have slumps. They have slumps.

He's in a really bad slump right now. If you're hopefully going on a road, he can get out of it. But man, they need him to make shots. They need him to make open looks.

You know, he's been in position at times too wide open looks to kind of stop the bleener. He is he's been off off. So we need him to make shots. Take number three.

Will the defensive player of the year please stand up please stand up. Now Rudy, I'm not going to pile on. I'm not going to pile on. Social media is going to kill Rudy.

Draymond Green going to say what Draymond Green is going to do like he's still in the playoffs when he's not right. All of these people are going to say what they're going to say. I'm me personally. I am not coming from the perspective of a lot of haters.

I'm coming from the perspective of man, they need you to play better, bro. They need you to it's too many easy buckets and a paint. Too many dribble dribble lob dribble, layup. And I know a lot of times he gets stuck in between which one to play, but Rudy is a defensive player of the year.

This is not the first time he's had to play kind of two players at once. One player attacking the basket and then trying to get back for a lob. It's like, man, yo, you maybe fish changes the defensive schemes, but they got dominating the game one in the paint and the game two was danger more the same. Gaffert and lively killing.

We need more. I thought going into this series, Rudy would be dominant. You don't have to deal with Yokech anymore. Oh, yeah, he got this.

I understand Kyrie and Luke, they put different pressure on the defense. I get all of that. They get down here so easily, especially Luke, man. He, I mean, he's like slow mo in the best way.

Like he, I mean, nobody speeds him up. He's going to get to where he wants to get and get his folder. But man, man, oh man. And then the switching, I mean, last night, again, last night for the mass, I know Rudy has been great switching, but man, man, oh man, I just don't know if you give up that switch and that's the situation.

Of course, hindsight is 2020. But man, I think, I think Jayden got to fight over that switch. I think maybe y'all should have brought a double, not a somebody who wasn't guarding Kyrie at the time. Maybe Kyle Anderson comes over from the right side and doubles for these guys in two, you couldn't afford a three and you let him get the defender.

He wanted go to his goal to move and hit a game when it shot. I can't blame Rudy for that. Honestly, I think Luke is hitting that on any big in the league, right? But it was another moment where it's like, man, teams have targeted the defensive player of the year.

And that's the truth. Nuggets targeted Rudy, go bare with your kids. The mass are targeting Rudy, go bare with labs, with dumps, with dumb downs in the paint, with floaters in the lane, with with with switch. They are targeting him.

The defensive player of the year has to assist the disrespect, wake up and most of all be physical. I see too many times when you get the ball, somebody hit him and the ball is loose. Somebody touch him. The ball is loose.

He's you know, you're going to a layup, a slight tap. Oh, the ball. It's like, really? Again, sports man coming out.

Let me take number four. Last second of the day, y'all. This is where my optimism kicks back in though, because it's not over. It's not over.

Now you lose game three. It's over. I ain't going to lie. But it ain't over right now.

This, listen, constantly, towns, Anthony Edwards have not played well all series. They've shot like 30% somewhere around in their all series long, right? From a defensive standpoint, they can be a lot better, a whole lot better in a lot of different ways. Okay.

Nicky Alexander Walker is not hitting shots from the outside. Now as we can be hit or miss, he had a great game too. Hopefully this sparks something going forward in this series. Each game has been decided about.

I think four points in total. I think game one was three points. Game two was one four points in total. You got Miss free throws here and there you got Miss layups and dunks at the rim.

You got the mabs making everything known the man in the fourth quarter. Now granted, they're a great closing team. And I said before that at some point, the wolves are going to lose some playoff games because they struggle closing games. We didn't see it in the sun series because they kind of stumped the sun's out.

We didn't see it in the nugget series because, I mean, almost every game was a blowout. So now these close playoff games, they kind of now you start to see the regular season of the rolls coming back to bite them when it comes to closing games. I know, but you still have some stars on this team. And one thing I will say too before I end today's show, I thought for this closure, man, after game two, I was like, Oh, I'm done.

It's a wrap. I mean, I don't know what to say. I got to come do for it was takes the next day. I don't know what I'm gonna say to people.

I don't know. But I slept on it. And I'm like, Nah, man, like we seen this team come back from down three to we seen this against the defending chance. We seen them win three role games to take out the defending chance.

Three, we seen this team show resilient resilience all throughout the season without the whole car. Any towns still win the best ball game stay in the top three seat. We see this team fight all year. Why would they stop fighting right now with their backs against the wall?

It starts with Anthony, he was a chronicity towns and she goes down everyone else, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet. I'm not. It's gonna be tough winning both games in Dallas. It's possible we just saw different win both games in Minnesota and I thought that series was over.

So I'm done saying series are over right now because you just never know it's the playoffs and crazy things have happened, but it is time to wake up and cats. It's time to wake up and play ball. Be aggressive, be a startup, be smart and most of all be who you are. Anything that is a superstar be that.

Contingy times isn't all start and can play like a superstar at times. Be that. Nah, six minute a year. Continue to be that Rudy, defensive player of the year be that best defensive to lead.

Be that. And this series is far from over, man. It's far from over. That's all I have for y'all today, man.

Look, I try. I try, y'all. I try not to be emotional. I try not to take it there.

I try. But this one was tough for me and I had to let it out a bit, man. I had to let it out. Hope y'all forgive me.

I hope y'all feel me and y'all know where I'm coming from. Thank y'all for tuning in to this week's episode of Four Wolves Takes. I will catch y'all next week.
