Quarant’anni fa, il 10 giugno 1981, l’Italia fu sconvolta da un terribile incidente che causò la morte di un bambino, Alfredo Rampi detto Alfredino (Roma, 11 aprile 1975 – Frascati, 13 giugno 1981), caduto in un pozzo artesiano in via Sant’Ireneo, in località Selvotta, una piccola frazione di campagna vicino a Frascati, situata lungo la via di Vermicino, che collega Roma sud a Frascati nord. Dopo quasi tre giorni di inutili tentativi di salvataggio, il bambino morì dentro il pozzo a una profondità di circa 60 metri. La vicenda ebbe grande risalto sulla stampa e nell’opinione pubblica italiana, con una lunga diretta televisiva della Rai che per 18 ore documentò i tentativi di salvare il bimbo.In questo podcast realizzato per Storiainpodcast, Massimiliano Cochi, inviato di TV 2000, ricostruisce la drammatica vicenda di Alfredo Rampi, anche attraverso conversazioni con alcuni di coloro che furono protagonisti del tentativo di salvare la vita al bambino.
