Nesse episódio conversamos com cinco ativistas da Rede Emancipa de Educação Popular para conhecer melhor seu trabalho militante: a Alessandra Félix (23) de São Paulo, a Thalita Rodrigues (27) do Rio de Janeiro, a Raquel Vieira (22) do DF, a Preta Rogéria (30) de Natal e a Lucelma Braga (43) de São Luís do Maranhão. Cada uma delas contou sua experiência na educação popular e na luta social do seu território. A Rede Emancipa de Educação Popular é um movimento social brasileiro que surgiu em 2007, com um cursinho popular em Itapevi, na Grande São Paulo. Lutam com as juventudes periféricas por democratizar as universidades e popularizar o conhecimento, com uma perspectiva freiriana. Hoje a Rede constrói mais de 70 cursinhos populares em quase todos os Estados do Brasil e com a Universidade Emancipa organiza cursos gratuitos em parcerias com universidades, articulando a pesquisa acadêmica e educação popular. Esse episódio compõe uma microssérie com o episódio anterior, vencedor do Tramas Democráticas do Instituto Goethe.
