40. Jesus, Our Redeemer: Bought with a Price

You’re free from the crushing weight of that debt forever. This mirrors what Jesus did for us. Our sin created a debt we could never repay, but through His death on the cross, Jesus canceled it completely (Colossians 2:13-14). His redemption offers us the freedom to live without guilt or shame.Just as the surprise letter announced that the impossible debt had been paid, Jesus has canceled our spiritual debt through His death on the cross, setting us free from the weight of sin.”But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.
