40. Patience, energy & hope

We talked about Alfred North Whitehead's Process Philosophy (the philosophy of an organism), coherence vs. incoherence, and the fact that nature is a process seeking equilibrium as the future pole draws us in. This begs the question: why do hope and patience matter? How can we come to terms with the fact that we are alone in this world?
