#40 Rachael Lee // Ocean swimming, saving lives, coaching swimmers, breaking records and more

from The Sideline Live Podcast · host The Sideline Live

On Episode 40 I am delighted to be joined by one of the most impressive and wonderful humans I've ever met. Rachael Lee originally grew up in Australia and moved to Ireland dreaming of swimming in the olympics.  When that didn’t work out she trained as a nurse, retrained as a firefighter paramedic, and took up ocean swimming. That hobby turned into travelling the world with friends and breaking Irish and world records in relay and individual swims. She currently holds the Irish record for fastest Channel swim, male or female, beating her husbands record! All while raising two sons and working a demanding full time job.
