40. The 3rd Strongest Woman in the World Rebecca Rowley on Body Positivity

from It's HERTIME with Cody Sanders · host Cody Sanders, Jess Toolson

Send us Fan MailRebecca Rowley holds the title of The Third Strongest Woman in the World! Isn't that so cool?! Jess and Cody loved having Rebecca as their guest this week. Rebecca is someone that carries herself with so much beautiful confidence, power, and she has a giant and genuine heart.  This week's conversation is about the importance of feeling good in our own skin and about body positivity. As a twelve year old Rebecca felt insecure because her body didn't fit the stereo-typical mold of what was considered "beautiful".  She thought in order to be beautiful she needed to focus on becoming smaller. But, lucky for her she had a wise 7th grade PE Coach who said something to her that changed her perception and self-esteem forever. He saw the beauty and potential she held in her body and he pointed her toward open doors she never knew existed. She has worked hard for years to build her strength and to earn the title she now holds, but she's shares that she has also worked just as hard to love and accept her body. "Beauty isn't just about the way a body looks, it's about what your body and mind can do." Isn't that a message every girl (and boy) should hear? Rebecca encourages us all to find, focus on, love and share our strength with the world.Be sure to check out Rebecca's instagram account for inspiration!
