40. The Benefits of Playing to Your Strengths & Keeping Yourself Accountable with Shaunna Russell

This week’s episode features Shaunna Russell but you might know her as @weekdaybest on social media. Shaunna paints these beautiful rainbow style pet portraits. Her colors are so bright and fun so you can imagine why she caught my eye on Instagram over a year ago. Shaunna’s story is an inspiring one with one reason being that she started her art career with two very young kids at home. I think she’s a shining example of what happens when you’re consistent and intentionally play to your strengths. Shaunna also mentions how she would rather just hide in her studio and paint all day, like us of us would, but she fights against that urge and puts herself out there anyway. And it’s working!
