40. The English Gap

Do you feel like there is a gap between the amount of English you understand and the amount of English you can speak?  This is what I call the English gap. Many times, we know what we want to say, but we don’t have the skillset to speak it out loud. Think of it like weight training. At the moment you decide you want to get stronger, there is a gap between the muscle you currently have and where you want to be. The only way to close that gap is to work out. It is the same with the English gap.
