40: Wrestling Omakase #40: DDT Judgment & April Fool w/ Jesse

Wrestling Omakase reaches its 40th episode as John is joined by the first ever member of the 5-time guest club! Jesse (@K0jiii) makes her latest appearance on the show to discuss all things DDT. First the two of them talk the big 3/25 Sumo Hall show match-by-match, everything from the dark matches through the big Takeshita-Ishikawa main event, then of course the surprising return of Shigehiro Irie at the very end. Irie of course is a big topic of discussion as we transition into the 4/1 Korakuen Hall show, April Fool, again going match by match. We discuss Irie's situation in depth including how much we think is angle and how much isn't, whether or not we're satisfied with his new heel makeover and how he presented himself in the ring, and much more.
