403: Indiana Parks Alliance

Episode 403 of Boss Hog of Liberty is out! This week Jeremiah Morrell, Chase Peyton,  and Zach Burcham are the voices. We are joined by Indiana Parks Alliance, Tom Hohman is the President and John Goss is the Vice President of Advocacy. They are both retired from DNR Leadership and now working to advocate for funding in the State Parks system. This year park services and staffing have been reduced due to lower reserve funds for the parks. Reports of lack of mowing, pools being closed, and even the elimination of paper maps.  We talk about ways private groups can help solve the issue, and how user fees can bridge the gap.
