403 - Jim Asbell with Frank McInvale

Jim Asbell is a singer-songwriter and recording artist very influenced by "the tropics" in his songwriting. He's a guitarist and an emotive singer with a dedicated fanbase. He had released an album entitled “Man Overbored” (spelling intentional). He was kind enough to come into the studio and not only give an in-depth interview, but also perform some acoustic / vocal performances. It's something I have not forgotten. we recorded this at Jordan Digital Studios in the great State of Georgia.

Frank McInvale came along as the President of Jim Asbell's fan club to see the interview and the musical performances. In order to get another perspective, I decided to ask him a few questions to make a more unique experience for the listeners.

This recording is what happened and went on to be broadcast on the radio. It's presented here for your listening pleasure and general interest.

The Paul Leslie Hour is a talk show dedicated to “Helping People Tell Their Stories.” Some of the most iconic people of all time drop in to chat. Frequent topics include Arts, Entertainment and Culture.

The Paul McGregor Podcast Paul McGregor On the 4th March 2009, my life changed forever. My Dad, the man I looked up too, the man who in my eyes had 'everything' on paper took his own life. After it happened I struggled to deal with the grief, I buried the pain and found myself asking the question 'why' over and over again. I too then found myself struggling with depression and anxiety. This Podcast is all about documenting not only my own personal journey to discovering more about mental health and suicide, but to also document other stories too. It's time to talk about mental health, it's time to give it the voice it deserves and hopefully this Podcast can provide that. Hopefully this Podcast helps show others that they're not alone...Paul McGregor is an author, lecturer, a mental health advocate, husband, Father of 2 and avid Liverpool supporter. He shares daily content, giving mental health a voice across multiple social platforms and through speaking and workshops across the UK.<p style='color:grey; THE PAUL HALME AUDIO ADVENTURE Paul Halme Business, Fitness and Fun!
