After watching God part the Red Sea and escaping from slavery in Egypt, the Israelites still did not trust God. They were afraid to enter the promised land. In today's One Verse, God asks, "How long before they trust me?" Basically, God wants to know what else He has to do. He has been faithful. The same is true in our lives. Since God has been faithful in the past and has our best interest at heart, we can trust that He will be faithful in the future, as well.
