Eric brings over 27 years of personal experience working with sacred mushrooms, beginning his journey in 1999. He co-founded MycoMeditations, the world’s first public psilocybin-assisted wellness retreat center and he has served as a lead facilitator and administered more than 4,000 participant experiences. Eric holds a Master’s Degree in Education and was the first Indiana State Certified Wild Mushroom Expert. His work spans education, cultivation, and nonprofit leadership, including founding PLEDG Inc. and co-founding Psanctuary. His path has also been shaped by his connections with the Rasta community and the study of traditional practitioners, inspired in particular by the traditions and writings of María Sabina.
