from CineNation Hosted by CineNation
"But isn't everything we do in life a way to be loved a little more?" For Episode 406, we're back with Trilogy Month! For this year's Trilogy Month, we're tackling a much smaller trilogy than usual with Richard Linklater's BEFORE series. First up, listen to Thomas and Brandon discuss how Linklater's disappointment with DAZED AND CONFUSED inspired the movie, how a real-life encounter for Linklater was the basis of the film, how Linklater and team found Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke in the casting process, why they made the movie in Vienna, how Gen X audiences weren't big fans but Boomer critics were, how the movie has become massively popular over the years, and so much more!
