Real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good, real good. Ladies and gentlemen, hello and welcome to episode 41 of Real Good Show, an episode that I would do the number thing on, but I can't even think. Maybe Andrew Alberts, did he wear a Ford one? Yeah.
Alright, well, an episode that is so stupid, it thinks the whistle is a puck. And also got concussed by Mcgradden, and there was no apology, and Brian McGatts a piece of shit. Yeah, so it's that episode. Justin Morrisette with you once again for another edition of America's Best Worst Canadian Sports Podcast, and with me, as always, is...
Stefan Heck. John Cohen, never trust a guy with two first names, especially when it's a plural at the last name. Well, that's what makes it the last name. Yeah, no, I know, but it's like suggesting that it's like Andrew and a couple dudes named Albert.
It's tough to trust a couple of. It's just a couple of letters. Yeah, tough to trust a guy. Yeah, it could be like, but it wasn't though.
That was not a posture. Yeah, no. That'd be weird to have like an apostrophe S in your last name. Yeah, I will give it up for him though, because like every time that his name was said by the commentary team, I was reminded of that classic Canadian Tire ad, where like Albert is dreaming of his future as an NHL player.
And then for some reason, like he's imagining himself in the future or whatever. Maybe it's a flash forward? I can't even remember. I have no idea what to do.
It's a little boy in Canadian Tire, he's buying like hockey equipment. And then either he's dreaming or they do a flash forward. I can't remember somebody out there please send in a correction. That's usually how it works for kids.
Yeah. They buy skates at Canadian Tire, and then they make the NHL. And when I say someone out there, it's Yurki 21, obviously. Our most pedantic listener.
Yes, he will definitely correct us, please. We love you, but actually guys, I'm not the most pedantic listener. The word pedantic comes from the Greek for we didn't. We love you, Yurki.
And we do have a new segment today, so there may be, we might be a need for a new theme song. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we have to be nice to him for at least the next couple of episodes. I guess so, but the commercial ends with Albert lighting it up in the NHL, and the crowd is chanting just his first name.
Albert. Albert. Albert. Albert.
Yeah. Yeah. That's what I do when I go to sports. I always chant first names.
Like we've seen some crazy chants in our day. Brent Sopple had his last name chanted throughout GM place at one point. I can't remember if that was a hat trick name or if he just had two when he was looking for the third regardless. That's an improbable name being chanted.
So Albert did have a chance at that perhaps, but not a first name. A chance at the champ? Yes. Very nice.
Thank you. Just weird all around. Yeah, it's just been a very weird start to the show. To this episode.
If I was a listener, I would have turned it off already. Well, you know, the only reason we're even going down this road of trying to pick player numbers every single week is that we have a pretty good one coming up next week. Yeah, I don't know what that could possibly be, but no clue. Yeah, I don't know if he's ever worn that number.
I don't know for the Canucks. Yeah, very strange. But this is your chance now to just stop listening to this episode right this second and tune in next week, I suppose. But I do suggest that you stick around because we do have some sponsors to plug before too long here.
Yeah, exactly. That's everybody's favorite part of the podcast and every other podcast. It actually seems to be, though. Yeah, I know, which is really weird.
But I guess that means we're really good. We talked about this last week about how good we are at Poppy. I guess that's our new bit. Yeah, I know.
We're really good at reading. I've got another coworker who listened to the show for the first time. And he's like, yeah, I like the seat geek bit. It's like an ad.
That's good. We're like, we're very good at indoctrinating our listeners. I think that it's a bit and not an ad. Yeah, he liked the illegal pie bit too.
Well, and who doesn't? I mean, you know what I mean? Okay, I see we need a clarification on this last night. I had treats a pizza from Dairy Queen.
That's not a pie. Okay. Because it is like a pizza pie, but... No, pie's got to be warm.
Yeah, okay. This is definitely a frozen pie. Yeah. So I was allowed.
Okay. I figured I was safe to consume it. Yeah. Because of course it's not March 14th.
So I was a little worried. Yeah. Okay. If it doesn't have a hot filling, I think you're okay.
Okay. It's definitely looking at me like he wants to sexualize that, but... You already did. I think it's not my sexual.
It's impossible to say hot filling too. If you cut it open and steam doesn't rise out, I don't think it's a pie. What is sexual about that? That's actually not true because banana cream pie.
Or you're like, I'm in the meringue or whatever. Yeah. Yeah. Like cream pie.
Not that I know much about pie. I think I'm one day a year. Yeah, I know. We don't really know a whole lot about it, but that's what I'm guessing.
Can you have pie on February 29th because it's not like a necessarily an official day? That's not pie day though. No, I know it's not pie day, but it's not, you know what I mean? It's not really a day.
You can leap on that day. It's a bit of a stretch to have pie on that day. It's not quite a leap to have pie on that day. Okay.
I think the police have the day off. They're not arresting anyone for their pie habits. That's fair. They've got a lot going on.
It is a non-existent day. Yeah. I mean, that is the day where all crime is legal for 24 hours. Yeah.
So they're not going to stop someone eating 11 meringue on the sidewalk. Exactly. I would just eat pie on the purge. The purge usually comes after you've spent 24 hours eating pie, but that's true.
Yeah. Well, for some of us, I guess it depends on how much pie you eat, but how much warm filling you can handle. How steamy it is. Well, it's key line though.
It doesn't steam. We went over this already. Yeah. Well, I feel like on a day where I threw shade and had a new potty podcast on a popular comedy podcast network for not being funny enough, we've certainly had a hot start to this one.
Yeah, we're crushing it. So I feel good about it. It's a good qualifier. It's a good qualifier.
Well, because key line five wouldn't steam. Yeah. No, I got that already. Yeah.
It's cold. Yeah. It's cool. Yeah.
You said this episode so far has been more of a key line. Well, key line pie is delicious. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
But it doesn't steam. You kept saying it steams. You were like over and over and over and over and over and over. You were before the episode started.
100% sure. Oh, Bert. Oh, Bert. This is legal.
Shall we just start again? Or maybe we should... Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to episode 41 of Real Good Show. It's the best worst Canadian sports podcast.
I am your host Justin Morrisett and I'm wearing a hat. Please welcome with me as always is Justin Morrisett and John Pollard. Beautiful. Be real.
Justin, be good. Be real good. Well, we could start over if you want actually. No, no.
I'm not. Why would we do that? That's the way some time. No, we haven't.
We could do that. Yeah. I mean, you probably feel pretty disappointed if you bought tickets to this episode thus far. But I tell you what, never disappoints buying tickets on the free seat geek mobile app.
Seat geek. Seat geek. I don't know if people would share a seat geek because it's like not their last name. You know what I mean?
Well, if I was at a Canucks game and I bought the tickets using seat geek, which is a very fantastic app, it's very easy to use, I'd be chatting seat geek more likely than I'd be chatting for the con. Yeah, exactly. Because that would be the only thing you'd be happy about. Yeah.
Well, at least I got these tickets. I got a great app. I used the deal score function on the great set of tickets. One of our listeners was at an Atlanta Hawks game this week that he bought a seat for $8 thanks to our promo code.
So yes, if you want to buy tickets to a concert or sporting event, the Seat Geek mobile app is the place to be. They have all of the listings for sold out shows even. If there's a concert you want to go to can't get tickets. I've had people at work try to hit me up for the code for our seat geek sponsorship.
Yeah, well guess what? Listen to the show, fuck face. You wouldn't know that it's promo code Real Good because else would it be? It's like when you like a lot of concert presale speaking of concerts.
It'll just be like the name of the band's album. Always like the first single off the album like, oh, weezers coming to town, presale code Beverly Hills. Like, oh, that's just a song off of the record. That's okay.
Sure. But in this case, the promo code Real Good gets you $20 off your first ticket purchase on the Seat Geek app. And there are all kinds of reasons to you, Seat Geek. We've all done it.
We have. I don't you haven't at home, but each of us sitting around this table. If you haven't done it, you should. Yes.
Just a tip for the listeners. We're talking about Seat Geek and sex. If you haven't done it, you should. But also, if you frame the check from Seat Geek, the bank will not accept it.
Just some advice. It has to be in an envelope. Yeah, it has to be unframed. Yeah, because I framed mine, but then I really needed 20 bucks.
So I went to cash it and they were not interested in the frame. I'll tell you that right now. Yeah. And if you get a parent on one of those giant novelty checks, the banks aren't cool.
Yeah, those aren't real. It turns out like it's not real checks. No, they're just there for novel services. Well, John, would you say that there was a lot of work and hassle into trying to catch that check inside a frame?
Yes. Well, Seat Geek has taken all of the work and hassle out of shopping for tickets. I didn't know where you were going with that, but I like it. They are a ticket aggregator, which means they pull tickets available from other sites into one place.
So you can save time and never miss a deal. You can even set alerts for upcoming games and shows that you want to be at. And Seat Geek will let you know if the prices happen to fall and they give every single ticket on there a grade in terms of how undervalued it is relative to the regular ticket price or other tickets available. You're always getting the best deal and they never slide in any fees at checkout.
The price you see when you go to buy it is the price you pay when you give them your money and speaking of your money, you'll get some of it back. $20 of it, in fact, when you use the promo code, real good at checkout. And how do you enter that promo code? Well, you use the app because I think it's only on the app and maybe not so much on the website.
No, it's on the website, too. Oh, okay. Well, that's what the copy says. They want you to use the app.
So that's what we'll tell them to do. Or use the website either way. Under the settings click, add promo code, use promo code, real good. And Seat Geek will send you $20 after you've made your first ticket purchase.
Download the free Seat Geek app and enter promo code real good today. Now, just clarification for our listeners who are stupid. The Seat Geek button on your phone will be a blue square. It is more of a light blue, a cerulean or a cyan.
What's that? Not quite as soft as cyan. It's more of a cerulean. It's more of a sky blue.
We're like an aquamarine. No, it doesn't have any of the green hints that is common in an aquamarine type blue. It could be, yes, a sky, but like a bright sky, if you will. A sunny day sky, a very blue sky.
And then on the little square of the app, it does indeed have a picture of a seat. So it's very good. A portrait style drawing. Yeah.
A seat. Yep. It says seat geek underneath. The curvature of the seat makes it look like it's silent.
Sorry, Stefan, I'm not just letting me double chest. It's pretty happy. Yeah. So say seat geek underneath it.
Yes, it does. So if you do go to the app, it does say underneath the blue square, the word seat geek. And what app does that? Honestly, I know it's very professional how they've done it.
And if you look actually the seat makes a smiley face. Is that like the arms in the chair? Oh, did you? Yes.
Yes. It makes like a little, it's like a happy seat. And you know why it would be happy because your butt will be in it. Yeah, it likes your butt.
It wants a seat. So, yeah, so please blue app square seat geek underneath it, picture of a seat. You cannot go wrong. Once you open the app in terms of entering the promo code, you'll go to the, the me section at the bottom.
And what the me section does have here is a, a picture of a, of like a person. And then when you go to the me section, it will say enter promo code. And then it will say if you have a promo code, enter it. And then that's where you'll put in real good that's spelled R E A L G O O D.
And then you'll be able to get your promo code once you buy the tickets. And we've talked in the past in the program about whether or not they pay attention to the fact that we advertise these things. Because they've never asked for any sort of proof this week today. In fact, just 45 minutes before I came over to Stephen's to record this episode, we got an email asking for air checks for proof of performance.
So I'm sure that they will be thrilled to receive, I think we're now pushing a good seven minutes on this purpose. Well, it's very important. It's only supposed to be 30 seconds. Technically, yes.
I think it's important though to realize that a lot of people are dumb and don't know how to use it. And you have to explain me, we've had to do it with the iTunes reviews. It's just, it's very important. So I think that should be really in all ads.
There should be more of a functionality to the, to the adder, or description of functionality. Like instruction. Yeah, exactly. And if you're not sure what the company is again, let me spell it out for you.
S-E-A-T-G-E-E-K-C-D! Yeah, so it's eight letters. So if you were to say paint it on your chest when you wanted to chant it at a game or eight eight people. Or you could get Nuck Tats, let's say it.
Oh, yeah. Use that $20 rebate to go get some C-Eek Nuck Tats. Yeah, there you go. From, you know, some sort of tattoo artist.
Usually where you get tattoos from. It's pretty cool if they like sponsored us. But they have to be in C-Eek. They actually gave us some money.
Would that be awesome if they sponsored us? That would be great. They should do this for free. Yeah, we're getting pulled out.
Maybe the check will be gone. Alright, well, there's other ways that people can help the program. You can head on over to the iTunes store if you're so inclined. Leave us a five star review as people often do in a segment that we call review review.
Two very enthusiastic thumbs up. Five stars? This is awesome. Worst episode ever.
This week's review is a lengthy one. And it comes to us from Stinky Pinky Peehole. Wow. Right.
Just and more of that is a good human. I think we can tell why I picked this one out. Yeah, because it talks about how you're good. Because I wrote it.
Oh, well, it's okay. I just want to first off, he writes. I just want to first off, give Justin Morris that. How do you know it's a he?
Because it does say Stinky Pinky Peehole or whole people. Yeah, it could be a girl. I guess so. Like you said, he, oh, but you wrote it.
I just want to first off, give Justin Morris that 10.5 stars out of 10. Even though he does often talk about being depressed, we know he has lots of friends and a beautiful cat to keep him and his BB8 toy and hat company. Steph and Heckmane, while it seems like a guy would want to play on my Reklee cocky team, despite knowing that if he got hit into the boards, he would fly into a thousand even smaller pieces than he actually is. 9.5 out of 10.
John Cullen, I want to see your comedy show, but you never come to my town. That makes me angry. Despite you always saying, yes, yeah. Well, others talk.
I still enjoy your part in this fancy full little group. The best part of this podcast history was ironically the first episode when you told the Phil Castle story. I still tell people to this day that I legitimately believe in you. Overall, this show, despite not talking enough about John's drinking problem, Hitler, how great the CFL is.
Justin's search for a meaningful job, the Tapper Tracker making me the biggest Tapper fan, or Stefan's job working in a poop factory. I still enjoy this show very much and look forward to downloading it every week. Thanks, boys. Five stars all day, every day.
Five stars. Great review. Yeah, I mean, great review. I'd love to give Justin credit for finally not getting a 9.2, but as we know, the rules of review are very strict.
If the review is more than 150 words, none of it counts. So, unfortunately, we have had to throw this review out and Justin's score remains at a 9.2, but maybe one day someone with less to say and maybe a little less time on their hands will contribute. Yeah, someone who believes in brevity. Yeah, exactly.
So, we're all about a real good show of believing in brevity. Yes, you can tell from our seat, you can promo up. Yeah, exactly. Definitely what we're all about.
Promo code. Real good. Now, if you'd like to enter that promo code, what you do it? Oh, you can also help the show by donating to our Patreon and supporting it that way.
We very much enjoy that. Sincerely, we do. It really helps cover costs associated with this show. Yeah, we're buying a new soundboard.
Yeah, you're going to see that some technical spending had to go into making next week's episode possible. And I literally would not be able to afford that without the support of our listeners. I know that we are getting some money from sponsors at this point, but legitimately, earnestly, honestly, listener support is making possible the great episode that we have lined up for you for next week. And it's also going to allow us to have guests on in the future other than next week's.
Next week's guest is going to be great. About 10 episodes from now you may regret ever donating to the podcast because we'll have had other guests on and you'll be like, well, in person. Yeah, that's what it would be. Yeah, this is going to, right now we don't have enough mic inputs to have extra people on the show.
As Thomas translearned firsthand. Yes, exactly. And some would argue that that made the show better. But we're going to expand our microphone capabilities and it's going to be just a great time next week and in the future being able to have in studio guests so you don't have to listen to us.
Jerk each other off for an hour and a half every week. And this week our Patreon donor to thank is Mr. Ryan Mance. And Ryan did write in to say that we are one of his favorite things that helped him get through the work day lately and that he was happy to do his part to help us keep the electricity on as well.
Thank you, Ryan. Thank you, Ryan. I notice you look at my kitchen light, there's one light on. Yeah, just one of the four, three of four burned out or missing.
So donate. Yeah. Well, they don't even work if you look at anyone in because this world is cool. Yeah, because the squirrels in the roof.
Do you think when Ryan makes love to his wife, she says she has a man center pants? I don't know. He just rescinded his donation so fast. I wonder if his middle name is Oliver than his name could literally be romance.
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Cool.
Yeah. There you go. I think my joke was better. It could be like octopus.
Yeah, I guess so. Yeah, it could be. I don't know what you want to call. That's just an old name I could think of.
Maybe Orin Thal. Orin Thal. Maybe his parents named him after OJ. I mean, you would have been born before the murder.
Yeah, you would have been born before the murder. Yeah. That's pretty bad. I was there just really into Orin Thal James Simpson.
So please donate to the show. www.patreon.com slash real good show so that we can speculate if you are also named after a famed murderer. Or maybe. Hey, he was acquitted.
Maybe you happened to be the Oakland child killer still on the loose. Well, he left a review on our on the iTunes TV. Yeah. So we're assuming he's on the loose.
We had like telecuffs about that. Cool. Cause then what if it gets taken off the store? Yeah.
We'd lose a five star review. Snitches get stitches. Okay. Never mind.
I hope the Oakland child killer remains free but never strikes the game. Well, I didn't say that. Where's my episode 42 brought to you by crime scholars. If you have any tips or details about the Oakland county killer, please call.
Stefan, I feel like you've been a little bit quiet so far today. I had a really, really long day and then I played soccer and like the worst weather I've ever played it in. Yeah. So let's get a quick update on beer, Salona.
We tied. One more. Yeah. Through the worst storm you've ever had.
It was ridiculous. Well, you guys saw the rain, right? It was bad on the North Shore. I was brutally.
I was just like driving. Yeah. No, it was one of those ones that last like, you know, five minutes. Yeah.
John, would you say that you remember you were driving driving in your car? Drums of basketball. Beautiful. I feel it.
I feel it. I had a feeling that I could be someone, be someone, be someone. Give me one reason to stay here. And I don't know.
I know we're doing a Tracy Chapman medley. Oh, we're doing a medley. It's like we're on the Grammys. Give me one reason to stay here.
You know, turn right back. My Australian buddy, Josh, can actually do the most ridiculous Tracy Chapman. Really? Yeah.
I'm going to get him to call in and do it. It's insane. Yeah. It's so impressive.
All right. Well, yeah. You guys tied today despite the weather. Well, the weather was probably like the cause of the time.
Yeah. That's a great equalizer probably. Yeah. I wouldn't call it the MVP.
No. It wasn't like valuable at all. They were wearing sweatpants and they weighed like 300 pounds at the end of the game. Wow.
So like triple U. Yeah. Crazy. It's insane.
It was like, hold on. That's why I was wearing the sweatpants. Are you finding the process of being on the podcast right now rejuvenating to your spirits? It's helping a little bit.
Yeah. I've been, there's been some laughs. Yeah. Some.
Some laughs. Yeah. We're going to get it even more. Promo code real good.
We're still in the sponsor. Yeah. I think so. Yeah.
Just do I go to the settings tab? Never. I'm going to send the pollutes. The 30 seconds that proceeded and followed the sponsor.
So we're going to have to send them the whole episode. Yeah. I'm going to have to send them like a seven minute, if not 10 or 15. No, I'm literally just going to keep talking about, so you keep like every five minutes.
So you actually go to send the entire episode. Yeah. That'd be great. I'll talk about it right at the end too.
So there's no like the 30 seconds after it will just be like dead air and I'm like, fuck is this? No, it's the end. Listen to like an hour of every single episode. Yeah.
Exactly. No, we just decided. They'll definitely renew their sponsorship. Yeah.
I love it though. Which we did have. During is that during the act. Yeah, and several writers or several listeners.
Several writers wrote in several writers listened in and then wrote that they were very upset that we did not have the presence of minds to refer to that as stick masturbation. I mean, that's a good one. But I, to be fair, I just said he did it by accident. I was like, do you think he did it by accident.
Well, I don't know if you said accident. You said you think he ever, and then you made a motion like one. Yeah, I mean, like one motion. Well, but it was, you know, I mean, it was implied that there would be several motions.
I mean, you don't just put your penis in and then sit there. Okay. Well, maybe not you. Yeah.
and it's just like two shakes of your hand and that's it. Like it's actually a lot more shakes. Hey, well, okay. Two shakes is lesser, more shakes, more dismissive.
Yeah, if you actually do like cold, your whole pro set, like you just go up to someone and watch porn for seven minutes and then you start doing the motion for seven minutes. I'm really excited for us to send this part into the stage. Yeah, well it's important to know, I feel like it's more, but would they stay the whole time? Well, you know the important thing with porn, there's a little Stefan Life Act for you guys.
The important thing with porn. With porn, if you're on like a streaming website or whatever, it's like, oh, maybe you're seeing, this video is rated 100%. Don't go to that one. That just means like four people have rated it 100%.
Go to the one that's rated like 97% because that means like way more people rated it. And like, you know what I mean? You know what I'm saying? Yeah.
I definitely look at videos based on ratings. Oh yeah, for sure. Yeah. I believe you by view is you're gonna be a bunch of weird like German shit.
So. I don't. Okay, so someone back me up on this. Someone will, I can't.
Chris. Chris. Back me up on this. I don't like that your roommate is gonna get involved in this.
What kind of weird porn is the live listener in the room reservation thing? No, I'm just saying. Do you, okay. I'll just step on the roommate.
An occasional intern. Chris Adam. Okay, go ahead. So, okay, do you, would you, on like Pornhub, do you sort it by rating?
Like if you had to, would you sort by rating or by views? Talk directly into this mic. Oh, like you're right into it. I just would kind of roll down, I guess, and go by the, with the video clip looks like I guess.
I don't know. I guess that's funny. You're gonna hover over it to see like what the still frames are? Well, no, you just want to see kind of what you're into.
And like, I mean, if there's keywords that like, you know, or like yes or no, you know, like I mean, like teens usually like a yes word like stepsisters like a no, like I don't, you know, even if they're probably not related, you don't really want to see that. You don't have that implication. Probably code real good. And then show them.
Oh, another good one though. If you go through porn stars, I find that's pretty good. You know, because there's like one person who likes you. Like, oh shit, I haven't seen anything by her in a while.
Or like, that's a throwback. Like, we can see her latest at all of the week. Like, we send throwback. Awesome.
Or like, my favorite is when you go to like their profile page and it gives them like a star meter ranking. Like a fucking IMDB or whatever. It's hard to trust. You know, it's kind of.
It's too mainstream like this. And then shit out. All right, this has been Talk to Stefan's Room, eh? About porn.
Lots of good advice in there. I was hoping you like, you could actually have something on the board. Yeah, no, that's definitely proven to be an expert. Oh, wow.
OK. We haven't talked about sports yet. No, we have not at all. Even though if this episode is going to be out in time for us to bother talking about this on the air.
But we did just launch an official NHL playoff bracket for Real Good Show. And you can head on over to our Twitter account. Or find on Stefan's Twitter account. It's probably the better place to find it if you are one of the 70,000.
No, you should go to the Real Good Show because I want more followers on the Real Good Show Twitter. Yeah, follow it up. At Real Good Show. Well, why would they be listening to this if they didn't follow the show account?
Or maybe they just don't want to. Maybe they just randomly clicked the link after Stefan tweeted it. Chances are you won't be able to sign up for the bracket if you're listening to this. Yeah, probably.
But we can talk about the playoffs. And we sort of decided that each one of us is going to adopt a team for this playoff run. And we'll kind of have like a team that the show was going to adopt. Yeah.
And then John bailed on that team. I didn't bail. I just thought it might be fun if each of us had a team. So then we could mock the other one when their team inevitably was like alcohol, John said.
No, no, none for me. We will have an official show team, though, I think. Any of us are picking that team, are we? Oh, are we not?
Why do we should still have the official show team? OK. Can we just pick three other teams? OK, sure.
Like I said, two alcohol, no, not for me. And my team is better than yours. And why is your team? That's the orange juice of the NHL, better known as?
Yeah, exactly. The San Jose Sharks. They're going to be there by second favorite team in general. I don't know if they're going to beat the Kings.
I think that's going to be a hell of a series. I think they have a chance. And then if they do beat the Kings, I think they would have a chance to win the West. But their goal tending is a little bit of a question mark.
And yeah, so I don't know. We'll see. But they're my second favorite team. Their colors are dope.
Their logos dope. Their stadiums dope. I've been down to a few games there with my dad. We've had a great time.
Great city. So yeah, I'm back in San Jose, boys. So we'll see how it goes. It's definitely who you got.
I'm going with Nashville. Nice. Yeah. In honor of, well, I just because I like them.
They're going to lose. They're going to lose the first round. In honor of friends of the show, Jesse and Mike. Yeah.
Very funny guys. Nashville's like a fun place to go. Yes. The reason they named their team the Predators and have the savory tigers and logos, because when they were digging up the arena or constructing the arena, they found a savory tiger skeleton.
Oh, really? Yeah. I don't know that. That's not real.
No. OK. Check Snopes. That is not real.
Snopes. Snopes.com slash. It's real. Here we go.
Sounds like another one of your jokes. Wikipedia, which no one else can edit. OK, let's go to Nashville. About.
Anyway, it's right here. Read it out loud. I'm about to. The logo.
He pulled in team president Jack Diller held a press conference where they unveiled the franchise's new logo, a saber-tooth cat, Smilodon, Floridance. The logo was a reference to a partial Smilodon scale and found beneath down. OK. Well, I guess that's sort of.
Yeah, it was about the arena. OK. But still. Yeah, OK.
OK. You were still right. You were mostly right. It was half right.
I thought it was during the arena. But yeah. OK. Well, I'm on the Nashville bandwagon.
Yeah. In honor of our friends. I thought they were ever in Jared from Subway. Or Microbaro.
Oh, he's on the net. The prophecy foretold that he would someday come to play here. Well, yeah. It's like, oh, Mirror slash 10 never played for the Devils.
Yeah. But reverse playing for the Predators. It's like my in there in 166, man. Yeah, it's like my from the real good shit bags, the actual Predators line.
Yeah. But yeah. In honor of our friend, I had Bronzhammer and that dog boner. Yes.
You think when they go out together, they call themselves Bronzboner or dog hammer? I think it'd just go like Jesse and Mike. Yeah, probably. Dog hammer sounds like a Norwegian metal band.
But it'd be like DAG, like dog hammer. And Bronzboner sounds like the award that you give to like the best porn star every year, basically. Yeah, like the third best. Exactly.
Yeah. The Bonie goes to. I have heard rumors that Jesse and Mike maybe launching their own podcast. Really?
Some kind, which I think will be very interesting. It'll be great. We can guest on that one. Or yeah, maybe we could.
Doing weird characters and being fat. Come on, man. I don't know what to say. I don't know why I've been on this.
But it just keeps going. Anyway, my team is natural. I feel like Jesse would be disappointed if he listened to the show and we were nice to him. Yeah, probably.
Yeah. So just a very funny guy, a very talented writer. And I think you should hire him. Yeah, I have a very nice chat with him today.
So I strongly endorse the team that he lives in. He lives in the team. Wow. You're doing great.
So much for that friendship. Well, I like that Justin Moore said until he said I lived inside hockey. He did. I'm going to go with, it seems like an obvious choice.
It's not a risky pick like Stefan's, who I don't think are going to make it out of the first round no offense. But I got my team going all the way in the current bracket challenge we have going on. So why not make it official and pick the team that's coached by the former coach of the National Predators. That would, of course, be the Washington Capitals.
Because you fucking was. I'll just take the number one seed. Because I just want to see a veteran win. Let me take the president's trophy winner.
