Doug is now cancer free. This is my tribute to all God has done for us in the past year. God is so very good! God is soooo good. Even on the bad days. He encourages us, He leads us, He supports us and sometimes He carries us. I know there had to have been days when Paul wondered what he had done wrong to spend so much time in prison, but God’s plan was for Paul’s letters to live forever. I imagine John the Baptist had days where he felt his life was being cut short. But his very own words tell us that he knew he had to become less so Jesus could become more. So when you’re asking yourself today, why did I go through______? Or why am I facing ______? Realize God has a plan for each of us and some paths are much more difficult than others, but when you are His child, and you call Him Abba, Father, and you have invited Jesus to be your Lord every day in everything, HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU!
