41. Hairspray with special guest Brian Boskind

I've been cooped up inside this house all day and my diet pill is wearing off.  Not to worry, we're back with more social distancing distractions!  We watched the John Waters classic Hairspray (1988) with MTMUG all star (and extra in the movie) Brian Boskind (not to worry, we recorded pre-quarantine rules in CA)!  Brian fills us in on working with the legend himself John Waters, Debbie Harry oozing coolness in person and Colleen Fitzpatrick almost meeting an untimely end in a teeny tiny car. And we would all lose our gay cards completely if we didn't mention the amazing Divine as Edna Turnblad.  Her performance, wardrobe and styling are worth the price of admission.  If you haven't seen the movie they turned into a Broadway musical that they then turned into another movie - do yourself a favor and add it to your quarantine watch list.
