41 | Trying Things Outside Your Comfort Zone with Regard Tang

from Shine at Work® · host Karen D. Weeks

In this week's episode, I speak with Regard who shares her story of finding her way as a make-up artist in the fashion industry to recognizing the impact it was having on her mental health to starting her own business focusing on self-development, self-love and mindset.  She has such an infectious laugh and energy but is also very real about her struggles with burnout and mental illness and how she has now turned that into her mission to help others.  Her message of finding the path that's right for you, no matter your stage of life, finding success through joy and fulfillment (because otherwise what's the point), to love what you do and do what you love, and stop comparing yourself to others is all a reflection of her own journey of trying things outside of her comfort zone and riding the ride along the way!As always, please consider subscribing, leaving a rating and review and sharing this podcast and the whole series with others.  We do this podcast to help spread the word that everyone can get unstuck and find the thing that brings them joy in their careers.  If our guests can do it, you can too!  Check out our Facebook Group (Career Changers) and Instagram page (@career_changers_kdw) for more tips!  So let's connect so we can chat about the best way to get you unstuck and into a role, or life, that is right for you!More about Regard...Regard was a professional makeup artist in the fashion and commercial industry for over a decade turn certified life coach.
