410 - The Guitar Geek takeover and Richard meets one of his heroes

Brian and Richard are joined this week by the Guitar Geek himself, Andy Ferris, for an all-new episode of the Chasing Tone Podcast!We welcome our good friend Andy Ferris this week as Blake has gone to move some heavy machinery in Nashville and so we find out about the Guitar Stories podcast which intriguingly, is about, stories related to the guitar. Meris have released a super cool looking pedal and the guys debate it - wait - thats almost on topic. There has also been a major announcement from Chase Bliss that the guys chew over and Andy gives us an interesting viewpoint or three.  Richard had an amazing experience at the recent Saucerful of Secrets gig where he got to meet one of his lifelong heroes, Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, and some other fine folk and he is suitably dumbstruck and impressed with the musicianship, the show, and the aftershow party. Andy is now in a band too and he tells us all about the adventures of Black Velvet Creme whilst Richard fantasises about becoming the new Peter Grant whilst the guys also celebrate the English entry to the Eurovision song contest. Brian asks Andy about his view on the guitar pedal industry and gets his take on the changes since the pandemic and some of the opportunities it opened up.
