In this episode, we're talking about how the development of the fruit of the Spirit in our lives is directly connected to our effectiveness when it comes to our God-given assignments. How do we know this? Our assignments are connected to people and interacting with people should point them to Jesus. As you listen to today's episode, think about which fruit of the Spirit you need to focus on developing. Highlights of this episode: - We are on a journey of growth - As people experience us, they experience Jesus - We want to develop the fruit of the spirit so we can fulfill our God-giving purpose - Your calling includes reaching people so we say yes to development and growth - God reminds us that our character is important - Remember to ask God how the fruit of the Spirit is connected to your purpose - To be effective in our calling, we must display the fruit of the Spirit - As we develop, stay the course - Every assignment is connected to growing the Kingdom so we NEED to grow. - Let's work on developing one part of the fruit of the Spirit at a time.
