After serving in the enlisted ranks as an accounting and finance technician from 2000 to 2004, he received his commission from the Air Force Officer Training School. Today, he’s supporting the Air Force JROTC program as a Senior Aerospace Science Instructor. Ret. Lt Col Alonso-Bernal previously served as a Level III Acquisition Professional. His contracting experience included serving as SquadronCommander, Director of Business Operations, Contracting Officer, Flight Commander, Deputy Chief, and Contracts Manager.
