#415: Miami Week 13 at Virginia Tech - Baby Shark and a Costco Muffin

Everyone has had a bewildering week, and the College Football Playoff didn't do us any favors by getting everyone wound up about our placement behind Notre Dame. And with Scoop out of the loop this week, we stun him right out of the gate with Paul Finebaum standing up for Miami over Notre Dame. And he's also stunned to learn that Hunter Yurachek took over the College Football Playoff Committee, who somehow tries to make the argument that Notre Dame's loss to Miami was somehow better than Miami's win over Notre Dame.Colin Cowherd also comes in on the other side of the argument, saying Miami deserves to be overlooked for their "bad losses" and everyone lays into him for not paying attention to college football because he's so far off. And the ACC finally decided to have Miami's back this week, but it's too late for them to support us now. Even ACC's own Eric MacLain raised the question about why the ACC is giving Notre Dame a schedule if it doesn't count when you beat them. We also go through all the scenarios for Miami to make the ACC Championship game, none of which we can count on to happen. And there are props to go around for Virginia Tech for hiring James Franklin to help rebuild their program as their next head coach. Plus everyone has three keys to the game, including limiting their quarterback, adding more Pringle, trying to quiet the crowd in Blacksburg, and racking up style points. Scoop is also still angry about the lack of creativity in the downfall of the season, because now all of a sudden we have bag plays and dynamic sets when it's too late. Scoop asks for the latest on the Lane Kiffin situation, as the Lane train's family made trips to Baton Rouge and Gainesville this week, leading to all sorts of speculation about when he'll leave Ole Miss.
