“Send Coach John a message”Watching some TV yesterday I was connected to MLB celebrating Jackie Robinson Day.  There was a special on MLB channel, called “Letters from Jackie” and I was amazed at the many things that he not only did for the great sport of baseball but for our country and really the world - when it comes to race relations and the things that people were willing to fight for. These things are what we are still dealing with in our world today. I was actually in tears, much like I was last year listening to Reggie Jackson sharing what he went through as a young baseball player trying to get into the big leagues. This all connected with me as to a message about perspective that I got from one of the posts from Rory Mcilroy winning the masters.
