Odds and Ends: We’re joined by guests James and Charli, who have been watching a lot of TV lately, and recommend all of it, including show favorite I Think You Should Leave; James has also been playing Elden Ring, and we talk about where the Soulsborne and Zelda games can go after their capstone open world games; Davids Lynch and Cronenberg have new movies coming out, maybe; Nick saw Everything Everywhere All at Once, but only once and only at one place, at least I think; Charli has questions about the Masked Singer, and T.J. has answers   Feature Film: It’s Kurosawa time again as we discuss another contemporary of his (we’ll get to a samurai flick one of these days), the thriller “High and Low.” It follows National Shoe president wannabe Kingo Gondo as he gets wrapped up in the kidnapping of his chauffeur's son, where he is asked to foot the ransom bill. Then it’s not really about him, then it kind of is again. This movie is pretty twisty. And did we mention the blocking?
