You put on your jammies, brush your teeth, turn out the lights and climb into your nice, cozy bed. After a long, busy day, you just know that you’ll slip right off to sleep, so you close your eyes… And then your brain says: When will it be warm enough to start my garden? What if I plant my tomatoes too soon and they die? I wonder how much it will cost us to drive back and forth to the cabin this year with the price of gas. I hope I didn’t hurt my friend’s feelings when I told her I couldn’t attend her party next weekend. And on and on, until you realize you’ve been tossing and turning for an hour. So you start calculating how much sleep you’ll get before your alarm goes off if you just close your eyes and go to sleep right. this. Second. And then you start worrying about getting enough sleep… STOP! This worrying is a habit. And if we know anything here on the Habit Thrive Podcast, it’s how to manage a habit. We’ve totally got this. ;) On Episode #42, we are talking about taming the habit of worry.
