42. New York History, The Story of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman

We're visiting New York this week and traveling all the way back to the year 1790. The story takes place in Tarrytown or Sleepy Hollow as it's better known. We meet the schoolmaster, Ichabod Crane and follow him on his adventure trying to marry the heiress, Katrina Van Tassel, and instead meets a local ghost, The Headless Horseman. Rosa will recap the original story, in words that are a little easier to understand as compared to Washington Irving's original text.
