42 - Superman [2025]

Does this fresh take on Superman suck? Does it not suck? Will it turn around D.C.'s thus-far disastrous attempts at crafting a Marvel-esque cinematic universe? The Doggett brothers tackle these questions and more in this episode. We also dissect the film, covering its highs (great effects, fresh story beats), lows (paper-thin logic, some classic comic book contrivances), and everything in between. Along the way we crack jokes, derail into tangents about Superman’s love life, and have a heated debate over what the hell a proton river is. It’s a fun, fast-paced episode. Check it out, or we’ll sic Krypto on you. Superman is a 2025 superhero film written and directed by James Gunn.
