Her final year as a burned-out elementary teacher – changed her from an aspiring superintendent to an aspiring cannabis CEO. Black and brown communities continue to be disproportionately targeted by cannabis prohibition. Parker envisions a cannabis industry where Black and brown people have a fair opportunity to build wealth and economic power through the same avenue used to villainize, incarcerate, and dismantle these communities for decades. In addition to serving her clients and enjoying family time with her partner and 5-year-old, Parker enjoys supporting underrepresented cannabis entrepreneurs and professionals through her community events – covering topics like, how to find business funding, pivoting into the cannabis industry, and securing media coverage.  Parker is a freelance writer and certified medical marijuana consultant based in Washington State.
