#43 Bina Briggs – What is Your Money Story?

In today’s episode I am thrilled to be joined by Bina Briggs. Bina is the co founder and director of Plain Talking HR Ltd. Bina came to the UK as a refugee from Uganda in 1972. She settled in Luton, and is now proud to call herself a Lutoninan . She started her career in corporate working for many different industries, before becoming head of HR for London, Luton Airport, and Plain Talking HR Ltd which was established in 2009. And after a fruitful eight year business partnership, she is now flying solo, as the director of the company. She is also the author of the book The Red Thread which was published in May 2021. People around her tell her that they like her warmth and human approach, together with her passion and enthusiasm, and as being one of my clients, I can certainly attest to those qualities in being there. During our conversation Bina shares in detail her earlier experiences when settling in the UK, her strong relationship and greatest inspiration; her mother, her positive and resilient outlook in life, the state of heart and mind which greatly reflect on her relationship with money and a whole lot more.
