43. Felix H - Gastroschisis & sepsis

På kub-ultraljudet i vecka 12 fick Jessica och Pontus veta att bebisen i magen hade antingen navelbråck eller gastroschisis. Vid rutinultraljudet vågade man nästan fastställa diagnosen, men ändå inte helt säkert. I vecka 33 går Jessicas vatten och några dagar senare föds Felix. Efter hans födsel får man veta att det är gastroschisis som han har, men i en typ man aldrig tidigare sett. Familjen lever största delen av Felix liv på sjukhus, och han drabbas flertalet gånger av sepsis. Vid nästan 2,5 års ålder dör Felix från sviterna av den kraftigaste sepsisen han fått.
