43 - Give it a Minute

Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz gives such fantastic advice on writing comedy that it’s applicable to other areas of life. This line was about not scrapping your material if you start to doubt it. Don’t chuck it all away, give it a minute.This has been invaluable advice to me. I had an awful habit of meeting an obstacle and immediately wanting to give up, both with my comedy writing and my weight loss. We don’t have to throw away our progress. Take some time to look at the big picture before anything goes in the bin. Success is not giving in when you feel like quitting.
