This week, The Long-Short had the pleasure of speaking to Sebastian Mallaby, a Paul Volcker senior fellow for international economics at the Council on Foreign Relations as well as a multi-award-winning author and journalist. His best-known books on alternative investments include More Money Than God, a comprehensive history of the hedge fund industry, while his latest book, The Power Law, lifts the lid on the venture capital market. Sebastian spoke to us about his writing process, his take on the evolution of the alternative space since his hedge fund book was published just over a decade ago and gave a hint of which area of financial markets may be the focus of his next work.
