#43 ITS FOOTBALL DAY - Italy beat England on penalties meaning... It's coming to Rome

Welcome to ITS FOOTBALL DAY, a podcast where two lads give their unfiltered opinions on the game of football. By far, the toughest episode we have had to record. In this episode we dissected England's performance in the final against Final Veterans Italy. Many words come to mind when we think of this Euros, but the main one in Pride. The team has restored pride in this England squad, the brotherhood, togetherness and team spirit has been second to none and has made us proud to support this group of lads.Sadly, we were unable to secure the trophy, our first in 55 years but, the quality of this team shows that we can go again and this is only the beginning. Football will come home one day, hopefully in 18 months in Qatar.Regrettably, we had the task of explaining the abhorrent events that have since followed the result in regards to racist remarks aimed at some of the players. Players that have represented the country in the best way possible.
