43 - Leonna Watson

Hey! On today’s episode I sit down with Leonna Watson, local activist, and one of the voices of the Muskegon protests over the death of George Floyd. We recap the protest, talk about what it’s like to be black in America, the way they teach black history, what white people can do to show support, and so much more. This is a very important episode and I can’t stress how important it is to listen to what she is saying. Email [email protected] with any comments, questions, or suggestions. Links will be updated on this episode for future protests and events in Muskegon. Cover art by Kameron Chauvez. Enjoy the episode!
