This week on PodRecesses, we needed a jury of three in order to--with no pleasure in our hearts--declare Xiao Xingchen a centrist, and sect leader of the show Sarah McCostumes was more than willing to lay the law down. We spend about 20 minutes making eyeball jokes, then talk about chapter 39, "Grasses" part 7, where everyone makes everyone else experience situations and which, like every book from Neil Gaiman's Stardust to Frank Sherbert's Dude, may very well be having themes.
