43 - Who Owns Thanksgiving?

The calendar is filled with many holidays:  Christmas, New Year's Day,  Halloween, Easter, and others. But most of them are old and have an origin story far older than the country in which I currently live. Thanksgiving is distinctly American in its origin, but its creation story is shrouded more in myth than in reality. This episode poses a strange question:  Who owns Thanksgiving? And then the episode proceeds to explain why this question is so very important when we talk about this distinctly American holiday.
