#432: Eric MacLain and Miami's Portal Wins - Just Enjoying My Muffin

We come right out of the gate with ACC Network's Eric MacLain - who for some reason is asked to weigh in our muffin debate... we're a weird show. But of course we get right into the Darian Mensah news and how Eric found out about it and what it means for Miami going into this season. And some jokes about tampering lead us into a debate about what it will take for the NCAA to put some guardrails in place for the portal.Eric also has high praise for Miami's offense, which loaded up in the portal beyond the QB spot, and how it has the potential to be so much more explosive than it was last season. And with more weapons in the WR room and a stacked RB room, Eric thinks that's the blueprint for his prediction of a decade of Miami dominance. Plus our concerns for the defense are quickly squashed by Eric who paints the picture of the defense being just fine with the replacements that are coming in this season. He goes as far as to say Miami is now the best team in the country, and the challenge now is whether they can live up to it.And before he takes off, Eric takes a look around the ACC and offers up some of his predictions and expectations for the teams around the conference.
