TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

It's a daily talk show episode 433 live from Salona in Richmond. It's Friday. It is. It's extremely hard to clap when you're doing handheld.

I tried it the other day when we're at the salon and it didn't necessarily work too well. This is how most microphones used in any given episode so 433 this is the first one. How many, let's do a roll call, 3d, delt, present, scooter, Derek, present, Josh Janssen, present, Peter Shepard, present, Jim Watts, present, Tommy, present, Mr. Nice ever present, the crew, why did you do two different voices when you called your name and said present because I wear a mask.

I am who you made is not who I am. I just revealed who I am behind closed doors. No we've got an exclusive this morning I was James already in the cocktail. Is it cream?

No it's coconut something. Coconut cream. I really want to try but I can't. It could have a little bit of alcohol.

I'll try it for you Tommy. I was just going to say this morning Tommy let off the glitter bomb. Yes I did and oh this is an hour ago. Come on in.

Oh my god. Amazing. Tell us what have we got here. We've got some octopus with Harissa and scordalia which is a potato dip here with the zucchini kef there with a little bit of feather and dill.

Yeah. That's a possible question. That's exactly how I would have pronounced. Give a bit of a rundown.

Today we're going to just be having dishes throughout the show here at Salona. 50 years over 50 years you guys have been in operation. 30 generations. So third generation.

So we're going to be to practice. Yeah. One thing I just want to you're great right? Yeah obviously grandfather wasn't.

I don't know if you lose anything. Well you're telling me that if my because your grandpa played footy for the Tigers. Yes. Wow.

I heard that there was a wrong. I think you were telling me Tommy. Which has nothing to do with what I was saying. You're talking about the generation.

Well race and a footy rule. A bit slightly different. You're talking about the generations. If my grandpa played in the footy that would have given me an instant in not an instant.

You have to be able to fight. That's the one. Yeah. That's the one.

Yeah. That's the one you put your father. I'll be a shoe in for I thought we apart from that I have no athletic ability. Have you guys heard of this rule?

The father. Yeah. Yeah. It's a classic one.

I want to find out from Steph though because when I when I was in Greece two years ago when I was living the good life but you know baby free we and on hand on our honeymoon I was surprised because when I asked the person at the sort of lucky joint I said can I have a just a regular one just the lamb one we don't do lamb and I was like hang on hang on. No you do lamb because that's all I've had as a kid growing up he lamst of luck he's in my right school Derek. Absolutely. But over there they said no no no we do lamb like once or twice a year each day and then maybe Christmas but I want to find out from Steph because he's an OG he knows what's up.

I feel like that's a classic Australian going to Greece you better come back with that story. It's like the standard one is pork. You don't know it's good to do so much ethnic diversity on the show as well. I don't know I'm a bit picky like that I'd pick up on the list.

No no no just with me lamb versus chicken versus pork. So I wasn't going to have a chicken or pork or beef maybe it was a wee one. I was definitely like lamb and I was pissed. We've got scooter Derek here as well.

Hey this is my big chance. When I'm listening to you guys in my car I'm always just yelling at you guys. No like facts when you get facts wrong or not. So just quickly the father's unrule doesn't get you a goonsie.

If you shoot at footy you shoot at footy you shoot at professional teams and play it. It's to do with the draft it allows you to choose to play in the team that your father. Some kind of preference thing where instead of being pulled to another state you get to play for Richmond if you don't do. They'll have to change it to the father child rule.

Are you sure about that? No. I'm more sure than you. I'll take that more sure than me.

It's also a requirement they have to have played a certain number of games. I played 50 games. It doesn't matter like you have to have played 50 or 100 or something like that. Is it something was there a point where you potentially could have played footy paint?

Did you ever? I mean I played footy growing up a lot until I was 20. When you say play you mean at a high level. Yeah.

This is like asking a tall guy you played basketball right? It makes sense for them to play basketball. Like a guy who's got his diet dialed in. And so I was doing everything except receiving the paycheck like the 40th player.

Yeah my question is why do you like the reason that you're way to healthy is probably some reason I don't know if it was that you were a secret athlete. When I played 40 I didn't eat that very well at all. And I played socially before anything so to get to that. Gemma on yesterday's show Josh said that he maybe was before I didn't know if it made onto the show but he was basically saying that you told him something that was I'm gonna tell you some information and Josh couldn't wait.

He wanted the secrets. He wanted to find it out completely. I was like you can't do that and then reach I'm doing. He can't keep secrets.

And then I was like this bullshit. It's just really just all blew up. What was it? Because I was it was it was it was it was it worth bringing because I said it's over for the show.

Oh I mean it's probably it's a good little small world story. I it turns out my parents know Ryan John's mum. Ah there is a large and we had a few and was like oh do you want to bruise his daughter? You know my son Ryan.

I'm just gonna tell because I actually asked 3D deal I was working on snippets yesterday and I said can you put a snippet together of me telling that joke. Well I was trying to remember what the joke was I was like there was a moment where I said something you guys laughed and I want that as a bit and so anyway he picked a bit but it wasn't the funny one. He got the shoots with me after the hair episode because he was like I was editing the video and I just cut you out whenever you weren't laughing at my jokes. Gemma laugh at my jokes.

I have to come up with moments where you just sort of flick your hair and sort of like that's pretty much what I don't laugh at a lot normally I'm thinking like how can I why not be with his mate the joke. But anyway I did notice that the bit that the stinging bit of the whole thing was the bit that 3D deal picked had your laugh at the end but it was like a and it was like a slice up of a fake laugh and I was just like what's it fake laugh? It sounded very forced. Was it maybe it was a cry for help?

Yeah. Don't ever disregard them as you've practiced that before. Yeah. I think there's almost a generosity in the fake laugh.

It's just like you got to entertain them especially for a nastiness like you. I don't know if I fake laugh that much. So hang on. Let's define the fake laugh.

Like I think you can just be in the moment. It's like when we listen to radio. It's not that it's not that funny guys you're all laughing in this room but there is a bit of a feeding of energy where I live there. We actually haven't had an apple podcast for a few since the Shepard one.

This is the last Friday's with 3D deal. How do you feel? Really hungry. We should start eating.

I've already had to mushroom. We're going to try this some form of croquette sort of thing. I don't know if I'm supposed to die. And there's also this um, yeah, it looks like a sweater.

Yeah. It had me at potato dip to my favorite things together. It's the first time ever eating octopus. Really?

The kid isn't left for me. I mean, I mean, I mean, I have to put some ball in. That's for sure. Is it?

Come on, Sam. Can we wait a sister? I want to see Mr. No, he's Evan and give us a love.

He's fine. He's not going to like it. Do you know this? It's not like chicken.

It's not like grilled chicken. It sounds like my child. He thinks everything's chicken. How is it?

Oh, you almost taste like chicken. Nice be chicken. It's actually your eating chicken. It's chicken.

What do you think? What's the texture like? It's a bit like um, tentacle. You know, it's like, it's like, I don't know if I've had such a big bit before.

It's what I'm eating as well. Can't give me a cent. I mean, it is a tentacle. Just to cut that.

It's a secret, yeah. It's very barbecuing. It tastes like a time-time form of grill. Yeah.

It's a chagrilla octopus. It's pretty good. It's about, I mean, we always do this. Yeah, it's nice and for a review on something.

Pretty good. Not bad. Oh, it just gives us one of those three. Back to because we've been at the shop already.

I think we're all excited because of food here. So that glitter bomb, we were trying to work it out for ages. Who, the centers are glitter bombs? I was going to send you a second one if you didn't look like a footer.

So we got the footer tickets and we let off the bomb this morning and it was still an eye in the garage. Turns out inside wasn't just glitter. It was little dicks. Yeah.

It was a little dicks. Yeah. It was a little bit of a piece. Yeah.

It was a little bit of a piece. Yeah. And it was quite cute actually. Yeah.

It was quite amazing. It's a little bit of a whole lot of dicks on him. Dicks went everywhere. Um, and then at the bottom, so this big spring was there and then at the bottom, there was like a little note handwritten.

So it still got it off. Yeah. And we opened it up. Well, it's ideal.

We should have brought it. Oh, yeah. We should have been y'all about it. Yeah, it was a video.

So basically it said, I'm still trying to figure out the translation of Gronk to Spanish from our mates Santiago. Who? Little Santiago. I sent the wagon wheel to someone of mine first.

Yeah. That's right. That's right. I'd like second episode.

No, no, no, no, no. I understand. South American. Yeah.

What's that? What's that? Province? Area in South America?

No, no, no. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not.

I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not.

I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not.

I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not.

I'm not. Yeah. You would have had one before, Derek? the world.

No, no, no, just where these biscuits are from. They're like it's funny. I never heard of them. I had never heard of them, and then I saw somebody posting about them as soon as...

it was at Google's listening and then was pushing me information about them. But they like these little wagon wheels style biscuits and Santiago, what a legend. But then he pulled a Gronk move like the definition or the translation is still Gronk in the Spanish. It just translates to the same words.

Isn't it, Gronk being one of them. Exactly. It's a French Yeah, it's like Balayage. I mean, is that what Mr.

97's got right now? I really are. It's not quite Balayage yet. It needs to be longer.

Could you define Balayage for the Fox at home? I mean, it's essentially like, they also call it Ombre. It's when your hair goes from dark to light. I had it for a long time, but that was just because I couldn't be bothered getting my blonde touched up.

And now I'm back to having brown hair. Is that very recent? Can you define or explain the definition of bangs? Bangs is the American word for a fringe, which is what I have.

A lot has changed in the three weeks. I have a fringe. I have a new piercing. A matte tattoo.

Face tattoo. Matteo, matte. It's the same color, but huge couple of weeks for me. But why?

What's the term bangs? What does that mean? I get a fringe. It's just the American word.

Americans. I don't know. Yeah, I mean, you've already been asked by Derek what a kitchen ate like a bad kitchen ate. Yeah, I have the wrong person to be asking.

Well, I think the wheeler. I think it's good that there are things you get said everything. And then you do the review. Which is not far from the trigger.

It's not what I think. You've got three kitchen A's. So three day deal. Final fat Fridays.

It is a good opportunity to reminisce favorite food on the entire time you've been in Australia. Not your career. I'd say this one because I'm getting in for free. Oh, that's tough.

It's not favorite food. Some might say the answer is right in front of you. You could be in the restaurant. I mean, this food is pretty good.

This food is pretty good. Bath top of the room. Eating a toddler on in the bath is pretty nice. I've never been more stressed than I was listening to that episode unfold.

I took a walk. I took a walk outside. I made a speech and I was like, just make sure you're mentally ready to listen to it. Everyone was walking.

I'm surprised you guys are bumping to it. Do you think it's probably the reason? Could be that. No, sorry.

Three day deal. That's tough. But I'd have to say the beef burger from AU 79. That was amazing.

That was one of those days we went there. It was phenomenal. So it was an afternoon and we were ravenous. And I think it's great work.

I had to eat it one handed because my thumb was stuck. That's right. The hand was passed the thing the day after. It just delivered.

But also the day you got here, it's ready to do. We talked to Betty's Burgers. I mean, the thing about Melbourne and we're here at Salina. Give him another bite.

The food everywhere is great. The food, like, it's not hard. Like I think if you haven't done shit food in Melbourne, you're not going to survive. Read a speech.

Oh, yeah. It's amazing. I'll do top three. So there's the AU 79 burger.

Read a speech pizza. And last one, short stop donuts. Oh, mate, you spent a lot of time in that place. They got to know you.

Three healthy choices. The only time I had food at AU 79 was for an event. And it was all they did a vegan menu. And they were like, see, vegan food can be fun.

I'm like, it's not. It's really not. Vegans can't drink wine. Really?

They can't drink it. Egg. Potentially. You can actually get vegan wine.

On bottles of wine I've seen. Especially we've got one from Audi that said, make and taste fish products. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

I feel like. I'm just reading the menu. I think that's actually with the preservatives. Let's use a part of the swim bladder of the food.

I'm passing myself out. So it seems like clockdoll's the oldest other I can just say. I'm actually 75. I just want a really expensive swim bladder.

And they use it to clarify the liquid, to take the cloud. Clarify? Clarify. Let me clarify this.

To take the cloudiness act. From what deals in Melbourne, if he had to do a run of the more sort of Derek style takeaway. Well, I find it hard to believe where you guys are located with head offices. Is, do you like being called head offices?

Yeah. You're writing it off first. Is you're right at the front door of the Vietnamese community? And I can't believe you're not just smashing down a foe every day.

No, I won't. I won't. I was going to say. I went to one of the four places.

But I think. No. No, not really. I hate it.

That's pretty controversial. What are you saying? What's that? Everything.

It's just like. Do you like the brisket? I like the one where it's the beef brisket. But there's a lot of hot water.

There's a lot of water. I get very hot. You take the jumper off halfway through. Why don't you talk through the watermelon?

That's why I don't like watermelon. What are you? It's one of the country water. It's one of the country water.

It's one of the country water. That's the same reason. What are you? One of the only foods I can eat faster than Josh is foe.

I've beaten you. It's because they're so much liquor. I'm not a soup guy either. I'm not a soup guy either.

I'm not a soup guy either. I'm not a soup guy either. I mean, but he doesn't. No, I mean, he doesn't.

How do you pronounce it? Faux. Okay. I'm just talking about.

Do you say paella? Or paella? It depends if I'm trying to be a bit spicy. Do you say Barcelona?

Barcelona. I'm going to have to come drunk to deal with all of you. It's been quite a soggy. It's been quite a soggy.

The tickets were... It's actually very hard. I don't know. Have you guys tried to get tickets from the fully?

I'm sitting serious. Yeah, my most weekends. I'm sitting here. I'm actually not thinking.

I'm not talking to him. I'm not talking to him. I mean, Pete's got a lovely weekend. Is it a weekend away?

A weekend away. It's a day. No, but... So you're going to ticket tech every single week.

No, I'm being serious. Ticket tech every week to book your tickets. I usually get other people to do it. Yeah.

This is what's all coming out. I'm not going to get a good option. No, so MCC, I just walk in with my barcode. It's like having a marquee.

You can get exactly... Yeah, yeah. Very expensive. They're not far off each other.

They're yearly to a yearly. That's true. I mean, but that's a thing. For me, it was like I had no mike at all.

And it wasn't except for my credit card. Yeah, so you're going to 711 and buy a card. I think, but is there anything... How if the game starts at 3.15?

What time do we actually... Is it like the movies? Do you get their 10 minutes before or what? The Japan's like...

What are you guys whispering? Yeah, he's forgotten that he's got a microphone. He's got a microphone. It's a really big fan.

We've just worked the cost between... How much is MCC membership, Pete? Yeah, 550. Yeah, 550.

Yeah,Trump, everybody's 1500 bucks. That's expensive. Yeah. Now, I know you would have done the maths on this.

So, how often do I need a travel for that to be worth it? I think you have to... Actually, yeah. I think it's 5 days.

I think you do. 5 days a week every year. So, what at that point? Because the thing is that I did...

Imagine leaving my house. I've got about 6 mike each, and they're all in minus. It's about 9 new ones. It's like you can write a round with about minus 15 bucks?

No, I got one. I gave one to Dil and then I asked for it back so I can get home when I'm I scanned on and $18 Cuts out of like you can get like minus five or six Maybe with a V line Stuff really depleted it I used to catch it back. I used to work in shape it. You know that yeah I used to catch it back from that and my mate caught the V line from me Brugged down halfway put it back to Melbourne and he's like there was heroin addicts on it.

They do it They drag run. I mean he's a bit hyperbolic. He's going to build our wall at the studio See the Melbourne on the train. Yeah, well Sydney I think there's something like train travel can be quite nice like I like has anyone done along to like a multiple day Everything I've heard of him stinks the gun through the middle of Australia I've not been on it, but I watched low TV.

Oh, I know a journey or the 12-hour journey on the gun So I feel like I've been on it the people that I used to train when I was a little train that they Had the kind of money in time spare time to do things like this and one of them the cos I'm money doesn't oh, yeah Yeah, it's like four. I don't know look at that the average age of the passengers. I think it's about 65 Oh, yeah, and my client was over 65 and she said it was horrible rattley uncomfortable bed I mean, what I mean, we're not a fucking train. What do you expect at that point?

I don't think they're It's not the dajillion limited or whatever it's called. That was a feeling to fill up the orient Express Anyway, there's a bunch of ones in Europe. I would like to do it I think imagine four bunk beds and a grom squad going through the middle of Australia I would do that what about like a cruise so I like the other what I like about cruises the sound of a cruise never been on cruise Yeah, I'm the spirit of Tazzy, but that's better. Yeah, the food experience sounds good.

I do like sort of like everything's buffet Yeah, which buffet sort of bug and I get that and if I want to be healthy, I think cruises bogan I got down the boat. I thought my parents were on a cruise now, but they're not there on like some Little boutique fancy boat in Croatia This sailing and then it's for anyway Has anyone done ever you done a cruise there? Who just did Antarctica so you leave from I think you can leave from South America and you go right down and you can step foot on the North part Part that you can get to yeah, I mean I didn't go you fucking be it tough I went in the south whenever whatever you go to a cold part with his penguins apparently crossing expensive Like I know I'm using the word posh a lot today, but that feels like a posh cruise It feels like one that you wear a North face jacket might have some binoculars get some cool photos of you exploring Fashion labels his bogans start to wear them. Yeah, but Lindsay I go I don't know.

There we go. I don't know on the end of it, but you see every man. He's dog trying to wear a Blintie I go now. I don't know the brand so I don't know.

What is it like? What are they? What do they do? They've just got some nice things and accessories everyone has the chunky sneakers now?

I can stand those. This is the shoes like I saw some Gucci shoes or something like one of those like factory outlets in the US Like are they primed to make shoes like the thing is like you think about like a department How much time are they putting in shoes versus just going and getting some assets or some? A lot of time. That's not a Gucci handbag.

I think they wouldn't do anything unless there's a lot of thought into it. Yeah, yeah My thought is though that if you if you're a shoot like I want to get my shoes from a shoe company It's like Gary Vee he's been getting from you Swiss case wish has been around no fruit case wish if you remember case wish No case wish I remember case with I was the reason he did it was because he wouldn't do with Nike because Nike is like It probably won't work and so you'll see the results better with a brand that isn't at its peak in in culture And so you know I'm hearing thank you, sir. Oh, I just asked you something quickly. Can you pass it out?

I went to mikinos and Santa rainy and I embarrassed myself because I said they said what's the lucky one and I said You know the stand one the lamb and I said we don't do it lamb. I said what do you mean? It's normal. No one agrees It's Lambs or lucky.

So what are we doing here in Melbourne? It's weird because when the Greeks came to Melbourne Lamb was so cheap because in Greece lambs were expensive because it was very mountain it so lamb we only land once a yeah East side that's it so we saw lamb so cheap so we went that's how he said every week Let's eat lamb luck flat out and then I'm doing lamb so lucky because it was reasonably priced whereas in Greece It's all chicken or pork so they say I want a Lambs of lucky they know that you're from Melbourne Yeah, but you're eating me can also answer it you were definitely from a little bit of a joke I tried the chicken one I love the court one. I had so many of them. I have learned more in the last minute Tradition for you growing up here in Melbourne to be having Sunday spit lambs We have barbecues every week where you know you'd have lamb on the spit or just big festive Get together that cousin's house and stuff like you know going to relatives and just eating like those are Fat and Greeky because I was just eating at all my aunties places which some aunties had the best you know Spun a good bit idea that I had the best Yeah, so when's the next one?

Can we go? Our offices in Abbott's Fit and there was migration of Vietnamese community many years ago Oakley in Melbourne is the Greek epicenter. Yeah, I mean you feel like you're into a little little China I was literally at I was literally Athens in Athens and the taxi driver goes, you know Oakley Like I was just watching it on the on the news or whatever. I was like really I wish I'd be more about A bit of an outfit Why Oakley do you know why?

Just they just congregated where the churches were so even in Richmond There's a lot of Greeks and Victoria Street in Abbott's foot like if you look at the Sun like when Sun sets We got the Vietnamese right if you look at the right set of time you see all the Greek running behind the Vietnamese right Yeah, like the whole shinkles Greek. Yeah, and then obviously Vietnamese came and then they sold to the Vietnamese and they took over that area And I would also know what did the Greeks what information they have that we didn't and they bought up all of our part the most expensive Suburb I used to leave they have a business there and it was every second house is a lovely Greek family What do they know? When it comes to property they smart they just go with the Italians going in Company Italians where they properly and stuff like that they get a Carlton they get the good areas They know what to go. Yeah, just follow the Italians.

They're smarter than that Well, I mean the Abbott Park used to be like a It was low and so it was classed as a certain area like a swamp not a swamp land But it is on a floodplain I think but it was cheap back then and now they own half the half our part It's so expensive to have quick question in regards to authentic Greek food Is it possible if you go to a just a random Greek restaurant in Melbourne Is there any certain signs or any restaurants that aren't authentic versus authentic? Look every place that's something Well, so my suggestion is if there's a Greek waiter or someone Greek just say bring me something bring whatever you think If you say that to a Greek Yeah, it's a very proud people They won't disappoint you though. Just bring out the best of the best that they'll have to offer They won't go, you know what I mean? Like if you just start worrying from the menu then maybe you might get a he'll miss whatever Russia you go to but if you turn around to the waiter you say bring me whatever you think and just give him the menu Greeks are proud they'll bring up what they do well Well, the one bit of anxiety around it is I went to one place where the you know traditional didn't have like the prices or anything Like that on the thing and so there is the little bit of a white you're enjoying the food in every moment This is great.

So tasty, but there is the little voice in the back you had been like I hope I can afford this If you got a mic on us, you might get a little bit of a surprise But generally speaking they're pretty good anything you can ask like you know where to go in not to go If you see someone's got like a sparkle out with a don't bring on gun parts You know it's like Tommy's gonna be like You guys are way reasonable and you see like a couple of parties in the kitchen. They're not gonna charge you when I'm not like that I'm pretty surprised. I'm sharing the love to some other local businesses in Melbourne. What's your favorite?

It's lambs with lucky lambs with lucky you know what I don't really like I'll give a couple of plugs to a couple of places. I like to get coffee down at Lake Andali on bridge road Okay, yeah, he's got a great motto that a little sandwich that I go to little snack. I'll go to Butch's dina on in the city. I've heard of that.

Yeah, it's 24 hour I know dina. It's fantastic We've nice snacks because we're in the hospitality in the street where we get hungry quite late. So I'm not in hospital when I feel Yeah Think of delivery services over rates stuff like that from someone who's in the industry You know I think it's a bit too American for me I completely get something you know, what's your favorite time of the week? I mean when is it when's it pumping here at the restaurant when you think it's a favorite vibe look for us It's a small internet restaurant, so it gets busy quite quickly like whether it's a Monday or Tuesday is people in the restaurant But Friday Sunday obviously, it's very very busy But even like a lazy Sunday people come in we don't have a set hour So you can come from 12 all the way through dinner service So you can come at 4 and have an early dinner or late lunch.

So I think Sunday's is probably my favorite The vibes pretty good. Yeah, the Finally tipping and stuff in Australia obviously it's not as common in restaurants like this What's what's your view on cuz I've known some more and more you go to places and you're going through and you there's the tipping thing I'm like I can put ten bucks or whatever from someone who's got a restaurant. What's your view? I'm I'm a bit old school now.

So I remember when you sign the tip it was a bit more Discrate where you just give the person the sign their name now it's all pink So that's gone so now I get awkward cuz I don't want to ask people I would you like to leave a tip I just give that function personally cuz it's weird for me Yeah, I grew up in this industry for me and you left it We said you're seeking to try at the end but look if you enjoy the service leave something for the hospitality stuff You know, you know, you know, it's a tough job So if you wanted to if you're happy to do it leave something but you don't have to do there's no rules because they do get paid quite well Generally speaking you do the right thing most people get paid quite well In Australia without a ward rate and what have you yeah, but look if you want to leave two even two three dollars at all That's up for the staff at the end. Yeah, they change the government What happened with this taken? The penalty rates your hospitality staff or for it's it's it's quite high It's tough because it's a very competitive market so In hospitality we're giving opportunity to people that are unskilled at the end of the day like some people come in with zero language And they're in the kitchen and they're you know peeling potatoes or they're washing plates And that's their entry to the into the to the workforce basically so They get paid quite well considering other countries if you look at other countries they get paid really really well, but um look I think I think I should always go to good system where it's a it's a fair system and by paying people the average person more Then they can afford to go out so it it all helps So if you pay everyone less people trying to squeeze people on the wages, then they're not gonna have enough money to go out Whereas I think a better solution is to just maybe minus a bit of the tax for the hospitality staff And I think that's a better solution than you know either dropping their rate or lifting their rate Exactly the big questions It's shake it so yeah So thanks so much for your hospitality mate It's got to take away there. I thought yeah, I think T.J.

asking asking the big question Yeah, I'm sorry guys. Yeah, Derek. Let's let's finish up with a sworn straight story. Have you got any any sworn straight stories?

Do you know what I'm not telling you when I told you in the car? I Want a straight Richard well, hi DB's yeah, we have a great here. There's just my brother and I my mom and dad from here Yeah, not Belgium Relatively had in Australia was Auntie Allison and apparently Auntie Allison never married and she was old she seemed old With hindsight was probably about 60. I mean there is those family that just always seem really old but they're still around just Just crew went on cruisers and just traveled the world a whole life and it turned out she had major shares in Dinnies So she would have been almost over that building down there.

How's she going now? My mom? Yeah, she's long gone Okay, my mom fell out with her in the late civil house Adult you know like scraping big feral and just going hang on a minute You know a very good with Culture rich men like all the different different areas. What do you like it for people who don't know swan straight?

How would you how do you choose where I came every with this this strip here was where I came every weekend from the outer suburbs? I grew up in Murilbark all around there and we would come in to gigs. So there was the corner hotel. There was the central club hotel There was Richmond Club Hotel Corners are a lot different now that's for sure.

It's great. It's pretty good pretty good I'm very bad that you should that I used to swim pretty sure I found in my old loft a t-shirt that I printed for the corner hotel That's cool. I'm on the internet in the corner. Tell contact music.

We have that. We'll do a re-issue That's cool. I'm on the famous turn out to be famous graph artist. Wow This is a screen pretty very quickly how hard is it if I wanted to do just like a few one-off prints is it easy for me to do like in the garage at Our office It's all right.

Maybe won't do me for it. No, just quickly What is the process because TJ was telling me it was that now we can't do it because you need the cutter to be able to cut out the Thing you can do it be treated as a craft hobby that you shouldn't do I'm just saying like you want to do like wrong squad like one-off. Forget it No Dion at well, you sleep pretty. He's a legend.

He'll be tough to you I think it's a 10 year mark mission 97 has already said that he's gonna get a 10 years 10 years Oh, join you. Oh, what do we do? I made a deal with my dad because I want one so bad and he doesn't want me to get one So I said he shaves his mustache off. I'm going to get one He's had his mustache for about 45 years I can understand like this I've got that same he said a mustache since I've known it would be you wouldn't recognize it No, Bruce.

What's has a real time-sailic vibe. He's a handsome man. Who's Tom selling? I don't know anyone.

The guy who wants to do screen printing at home also says who's Tom If you want to do it as a hobby just do it. Yeah, that's why I'm saying as a way of saving money No, okay, so it's even more expensive to get more of a man. I think you want a free at-time I would definitely get one of those things you could go to some woodwork at home So I want to buy all the tools and then it actually takes on a benefit unless you're into it You'll never use the tools like a very Josh James I Had like wooden nail like I was actually into all that sort of something with a period of time Yeah, I was a period of time, but that doesn't it's different things are different like I remember hammering all shit when I was young When I'm an adult, but I'm not I'm not into that shit. That's our woodworking.

That's just hammering I think I'm more into that stuff now than you are so I reckon you literally And then you'd be like oh you think that you'd be more into screen printing Watch yourself and then you'd be like I have a bike trainer for that very like I've been quite good with that. I'm not buying it for the officer You could have a sweat session No, no, no, there's a specific anyway Organized August getting very close to the end Russ Keys has been killing it He's been ticking off all these things wondering anyone else organized August Derek Don't really well for me. What have you been doing being very organized? Did you really just buying my way into this?

By dishwasher, I don't know You have a dishwasher in the lounge room right now That's fun I Face to face to face so I know so I yeah, we're gonna wrap up and we're gonna eat a bunch of So yeah I don't know if you watch the video of him explaining when he was on the plane going to Sydney he ate so much food Yeah person asked me asked if I was okay because I was just breathing deeply and I must have been really flush Was it at that point you thought I've gone too far? Yeah, I was like no you can't go too far Yeah, you're just focusing on not throwing up yeah, I get it and yesterday. I was quite critical of tuna rice. Yeah.

Yeah, it's that I'm feeling I'm feeling better about it now. I actually bring took all of the tuna home because you're not gonna eat it But I'm being reflecting on it. It's worth giving it a go I'm just gonna rise. Yeah, you just have to not care so much about flavors and but then You go to somewhere on You can't eat here To be straight like yes, it's like when you go off sugar and then you know if glazed with bass tastes like What's it's sweet it tastes like it's a man's bar.

Yeah, so you can win you sell for the sweetness and then you'll enjoy the June sell it to you know, yeah, I'm at the sugar a bit so That's a good time. Yes, I am Fashion week is next week I mean you've got a hooking things up. Do you think you could hook 97 up for something? I cast it like a month ago.

I was sitting in front row seats just sitting down just I would Maybe as a reviewer I would love to when is the indie also mentioned the brown low? Before the Red carpet at the brown low and just sort of talking footy Anyway, we've got the footing on Sunday, so we're sorry I can't be there I think is it gonna be a close game? Do we know that? Is it a knockout for the no, it's better to set the finals next week It's a final for is I need calling wood to lose tonight because then if rich men happen to lose on Sunday We'll still finish top four if we win on Sunday.

We could finish top of the ladder. What are you laughing? I'm like my pink dress I think it brings a way she's on a like a hate tiger. They're doing like the equivalent of a school camp She showed me photos and it's like bunk beds and stuff.

I'm like, is it gonna be flying fox? Is a room I'm trying to find a flag fox. I mean I love hot anyway, please away tonight So I was thinking maybe I could watch some the calling wood game just watch some Have you let top on you tubing I had whiskey It's Jin is that like whiskey or no? Right days.
