We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context. In this session, we continue our journey through Ephesians. Here, we continue our focus on Paul's understanding of God's knitting us together for good works in God's kingdom from Ephesians 4:16 by looking through the lenses of soul knitting in the relationship of Jonathan & David from 1 Samuel 18 at how God mends ends to his end and passes the torch to the next generation. In this episode, we look at how Christ's love for his body should be reflected in our love for the body. We are laying the foundation to discovering the riches hidden in the ancient Scriptures of God's people to learn God's way of doing and being in our daily lives.
