436 - John Conlee Singer John Conlee was born and raised on a Kentucky tobacco farm. He had a number of occupations, including working as a radio disc jockey. He moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1971 to follow his dreams of being a vocalist and recording artist. In 1981, he joined the Grand Ole Opry where he performs to this day. As a recording artist, he's had many hits and is heard on terrestrial country radio to this day and is a favorite on Sirius XM's Willie's Roadhouse. He continues to record and tour and has won the hearts of many lovers of great singing and songs. The Paul Leslie Hour is a talk show dedicated to “Helping People Tell Their Stories.” Some of the most iconic people of all time drop in to chat.
