#438: OBB Benched: Wheel of Topics & 5 Questions - Janet Reno Was Not Happy

Instead of talking about Combine performances, unbeaten baseball teams or college recruiting battles... we're talking about four point field goals, cheating executives and 12-year car thieves! Welcome to OBB Benched! We open with a quick revisit to the French skier who took a shot to the nuts, for Scoop's amusement who missed it last show. We also jump into the call and reaction to the US Olympic Hockey Team defeating Canada and winning the Gold - including all the amazing memes, and how everyone loved enjoying the unadulterated patriotism. From there we get into all the new UFL rules - including 60-yard four-point field goals - and which of them we'd like to see adopted by today's NFL. We also run down CBS's list of the Top 10 college football coaches on the hot seat, which of course is led by Mike Norvell. And the story of the week about a 12-year-old North Carolina boy who drove himself to school after missing the bus, leads to stories about the things we did as kids that got us in the most trouble. And Roman brings it all home with another round of Five Questions - which include our thoughts on Pokemon turning 30, how you would be able to decipher your real wife from an identical twin, lies we were told as kids that still bother us, textures and smells that bother us, and the dumbest ideas we've seen that actually worked. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, Rapid Auto Lease, and BeatinTheBookie.com. 00:00 OBB Benched Returns 00:37 Run It Back Ski Clip 01:41 USA Golden Goal Hype 05:08 Jack Hughes Miracle Irony 08:37 UFL Rule Experiments 13:00 Coach Hot Seats 18:36 Metallica Vegas Plans 19:11 12 Year Old Car Thief 21:13 Childhood Trouble Stories 26:27 GTA Strip Club Surprise 27:35 Question 1: Pokemon Turns 30 29:07 Question 2: Wife Twin Dilemma 32:49 Question 3: Childhood Lies Revealed 37:15 Question 4: Creepy Smells and Textures 45:07 Question 5: Dumb Ideas That Worked 45:48 Naming Bits and Wrap Up Roofing issues?
