44. 20 Pound Summer Challenge: Managing Urges

from Concierge Weight Loss · host Kara Hackleman, Certified Life & Weight Loss Coach

Do you feel out of control with your favorite foods? Banishing them in the name of Weight Loss? Managing urges is simply understanding the urge & deciding how you want to react. Urges are normal and will always be there but the urgency will diminish as you practice not acting on them.  Sometimes you will choose to eat & sometimes you won't. There is no judgement, no beat downs, only a choice. What are you choosing? The food or your goal? A moment of pleasure or the momentum from pride that drives the next step to your goal?  Practice having & not having foods. Take the deprivation out & remove any power you have given it.   _____________________________________________ Show Notes & Special Links Like what you heard?
