44. Jason Schipper

This week's guest is my best friend, none of you know him, but this is a chat between him and I about how our 17 year friendship was spurned by a love of music, and being obnoxious teens who carried those 300 page cd binders around with us in school. Over the years our friendship has seen us spend countless hours listening to all kind of music from the nu metal realm, until we moved to Lansing MI and each went down our own musical paths. I went more into the metal and hardcore scene that was starting to take shape in the early 2000's, while Jason went more into the punk world that was seeing its own reemergence as well. Hear how while we've maintained our friendship, and sound like old jaded music people as we try and keep up with new bands and trends as best as 2 30 somethings can.
