Send us Fan MailIn John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” I. Jesus is the way to God as He gave His life for our redemption. John MacArthur states, “Christ is not one way among many; He is the only way to the Father. To reject Christ is to reject God.” – From Only Jesus: What It Really Means to Be Saved (Thomas Nelson, 2020). II. Jesus is the truth as He is our absolute standard. 1 John 5:20 “And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.” John 1:17 “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”III. Jesus is the LifeJesus being “our life” also points to the promise of life beyond this world. In John 11:25-26, Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” For believers, physical death is not the end as we will live eternally with God because of Jesus.
