She focused on improving care for children with temporary hearing loss due to glue ear (a common condition, where fluid builds up behind the ear drum, causing temporary deafness in young children), by creating an affordable medical device to improve hearing as well as an app called Hear Glue Ear, to improve childhood developmental skills and to empower children/ families to self manage glue ear between appointments or when operations (known as grommet- insertion operations or tympanostomy tube operations) are unavailable.
