#441 Today's Boondoggle -Paying the dues to the Death Dealer Union

🎸 How Did a Cornfield Girl Become a Rock Vocalist? | Death Dealer Union Get ready to ROCK! 🤘 Bill sits down with Death Dealer Union's drummer CC McKenna and their electrifying new vocalist Kay Bellows for one of the most entertaining interviews you'll hear all year! CC spills on growing up dreaming of being KISS legend Peter Criss OR the Six Million Dollar Man — talk about range! Meanwhile, Kay had her sights set on veterinary school or Broadway before music came calling. Together, they dive deep into the inspiration behind Death Dealer Union, their creative journey with Lena Scissorhands of Infected Rain, and the wild story of how Kay was discovered as their new frontwoman. They break down their upcoming album *Dark Sister*, how the Backstage app pulled Kay straight out of the cornfields of Illinois to an LA music video shoot, why they chose to cover Ghost's iconic "Square Hammer," their support for Jose Mangin's charity, and their deep love for the military — Kay is even married to an Army veteran! This episode is packed, passionate, and pure rock and roll energy! Is this the most badass band origin story you've ever heard, or what?! --- Discounts available on the following Partnerships for Today's Boondoggle Fans: 👉 https://vseeboxus.com/affiliate-program/sell-product?source_type=sales_plugin_af&slt=sales_plugin_af&productPage=1&referral_code=IR57074TWJ3O 👉 PURUS LABS: https://puruslabs.goaffpro.com/create-account?ref=billbailey%2Ftoday%27sboondogglepodcast10 👉 Purus Labs Discount Code: BILL1095 👉 Today's Boondoggle fans can receive 10% off their orders at dreemnutrition.com by using the promo code BOONDOG10 at checkout. 👉 Today's Boondoggle fans can receive 10% off their orders at TNT-Health.com by using the promo code BOONDOGGLE at checkout. 👉 Today's Boondoggle fans receive 10% off on orders from Pure Plank on https://gopureplank.com/ using BOONDOG10 at checkout.
